They're offering a good deal for buying both OFFICIAL AND UNOFFICIAL GUIDES, BUT IT IS REALLY HELPFUL TO HAVE BOTH?

It really depends on your own opinion. In some cases I have both books mostly for the gamecube games. Its different to see what each guide thinks is important. In most cases the Prima guide has stuff that the Offical Nintendo guide doesn't and the other way around. I personally have found it very helpful to have both guides.
