Under Armour clothes have four different kind of fit: Compression, Fitted, Regular or Loose. This item is a "Compression" t-shirt, and in the Under Armour site the "Compression fit" is described as follow: "The squeeze makes you strong. Ultra-tight, second-skin fit..."
If you buy your exact size, I can assure you that this garment will do the job. You'll have a "Second skin" and you'll look exactly as the guy in the picture... Well, more or less ripped depending on your fitness ;-)
I'm a "large" and I bought a "large" and I'm quite happy with the size.
I consider that that is pointless to buy a "compression" t-shirt one or two size bigger. It will not compress you as this T-Shirt should do. IMHO it could make more sense to buy a Under Armour "Fitted" or "Regular" style.
Update: I had my first work out using this T-shirt, in a hot South American summer day. It was a really dynamic routine with a lot of explosive movements and this product really did a great job keeping me cool and tight.
Really recommended. I'll surely others compression t-shirts.
The shipping was lightning fast. I ordered the shirts Sunday night and received them Tuesday evening.
I'm 5'9" and 160 pounds and toned (trying to build muscle)...chest is about 41" and waist 32". I bought a medium, and it fits great. Not too snug/tight, not loose. I love it. It feels great. I was expecting it to be tighter based on some reviews. If it was tighter, I would still be fine with it. Based on some reviews, I was worried about the sizing. I normally buy medium size shirts. My advice: Buy your normal size. Do not size up.
Made in Mexico. 84% polyester. 16% Elastane. Machine wash cold. Tumble dry on low (but I will drip dry). Non-chlorine bleach only. No iron. No fabric softener.
The sand color is very nice. I wanted a lighter color, because I think it shows the contours of the body better. I wish they had more colors to choose from. It has good quality stitching. Enjoy!

It is the best undershirt I have ever worn, and I will be buying more of them to replace all of my old cotton undershirts. There is four distinct advantages these Under Armour shirts have over cotton:
1: They are cooler. I sweat less, and that is always good.
2: If I do sweat, they wick the sweat away quickly and dry incredibly fast. (unlike cotton that stays damp for hours)
3: They have some sort of antimicrobial tech that actually keeps the shirt from getting stinky. (I have worn the same undershirt multiple days in a row with no adverse odors)
4: The compression fit of the shirt actually has a slimming effect.
Number 4 was actually the reason I decided to buy this shirt. I'm nearing middle age, and I'm not in as great of shape as I'd like to be. Ever since puberty I have had "man boobs" Even when I was in good shape, and had very little body fat they were there.. Now that I have some extra weight, they are even more pronounced and noticeable, causing me to be self conscience and uncomfortable almost all the time. This shirt doesn't make me look like I'm in shape, but it does flatten the flabby parts of my body just enough to make me feel quite a bit more comfortable.
There is no logo on the left breast as in the pictures. It is located on the bottom right of the shirt and is hidden when tucked into pants. I am happy they chose to relocate the logo on the newer shirts. Even though I use it as an undershirt, I don't buy clothes that make me a walking billboard for a brand. Under Armor is not paying me to advertise, so I'd rather have nondescript clothes. These shirts are in fact genuine Under Armour.

Currently not available in white from UA directly so this was a lucky find. Needed it without the "X" logo on the upper chest and this fit the bill. Perfect fit.Published 24 days ago by Kristi
