I needed an easy way to get to the USB 3.0 ports on the back of my HTPC and these worked perfectly. The only warning I would give is that you really need to look very closely at the images. The one I ordered has two right angle usb ports, but if you look closely one will come out on the right side of the computer and the other on the left. I had intended to have them both facing the same way.

As far as the cables go, they feel nice and beefy and the USB port makes a great connection. Very solid and it feels like they are using a thicker gauge wire.

This item has solve a problem with the Bamboo Stand and charger I chose for it. It allows me to add charger cables in which the USB end is to long. As well as, I can use special cables away from the box without removing devices.

Right and Left 90-degree USB 3.0 extensions; if you're looking at these, these are exactly what you need. Doesn't get much simpler. I'm using one with my PS4 so the wireless headset dongle doesn't stick straight out the front of the console; it's long enough to get the dongle around the side of the console to tuck it away so it's less likely to be damaged.

Cable is too thin to carry the current to power a simple 2.5 inch 7200RPM 1TB HDD, but seems to be enough for media card readers or USB2 and USB1 peripherals like keyboards and mice (which generally draw rather less power).

The female end of the cable is too loose; just looking at it funny seems to be enough to cause loss of USB3 connectivity, and moving either the host or the peripheral, if the female end of this is affected in any way, is definitely enough. Again, USB2 and USB1 devices plugged into this seem okay on this front, but they don't have the extra small additional connections to maintain.

These right angle USB 3.0 extension cables didn’t work for me.
My setup is a MacBook Pro connected to a powered USB 3 hub. The hub has 2 hard drives and a USB 3 stick on it.
The USB 3 Hub provides power to one of the hard drives and the other is powered from its own supply.
Everything works fine when the hub is directly connected to the MBP with its USB 3 cable.
If i attached either one of these right angle cables, only one of the drives will show up.
Ive tested it every way i can think of and its definitely these extension cables.

Though they do seem work for single devices but i wouldn’t trust it for hard drives or USB sticks.
The risk of data loss is too great to risk it. Im using one of them now for wireless headset adapter. Its a USB 2 device but its working fine on these extension cables. I am reluctant to try anything else but ill keep them for an emergency. They might work for something in the future.

My recommendation is look elsewhere if you need something like this for hard drives or other high throughput USB 3 devices.

The USB ports in my 2016 Chevrolet Impala were deep in the console. I couldn't reach them without removing all my CDs. These cables are like an extension cord that brings those USB plugs outside the console where they can be used easily (there is a small gap near the console latch to pass the cables from inside the console out to the auto cabin). The left angle connector was more direct because the cable of that one pointed up and out of the console when plugged correctly into the deep USB port. The right angle connector, in my Impala situation, pointed the cable down. Your mileage may vary, so check the direction of your USB connector - - or just buy this pack of two cables and know that you are covered either way!

Neither worked, so given the 5-star ratings, but be poor Quality Control. I tried several flash drives and a hard drive. The computer shows cables connected but no data from drives. But a new$2.99 C2G right angle cable received today HENGSHENG® USB 2.0 Extension Cable - Right Angle A Male to Female - 0.7 Feet (20cm) worked great with everything I plugged in to it.

Even had they worked, the connections were so tight on one that I feared I ruin the connections on my USB flash drives or external HD. I'd avoid these and go with the C2G.

I have a USB flash drive loaded with movies that stuck out the side of my tablet and was in danger of being knocked out by a passerby during my commutes to and from work, so I needed a short extension cable to eliminate the problem and these cables fit the bill perfectly. The angled connector sits closely to the tablet and is no danger of being knocked out - works perfectly.
