-Durability... This thing is tough. I've crashed this full speed into my fence more than a couple times and its simply not getting hurt. I removed the blade guards as it flies a bit better without them and the blades are still holding up very well. It comes with an extra set, but I have not needed them.
-Stability... The UDI is pretty stable once you get it trimmed out which for me always takes a good bit of right input. Once trimmed it stays put pretty good, although it still drifts more than the Cheerson CX-10.
-Speed... There are 3 sensitivity modes which directly affect speed and agility. Level 1 is the tamest and ok for indoors. Outside though level 1 will not be strong enough to fight any noticeable wind. Level 2 is the sweet spot for me as the vehicle becomes authoritative. I wish the yaw was a tad less sensitive on this level. Level 3 is down right twitchy and this guy becomes a rocket. Better have plenty of space.
-Radio Range... Excellent. This thing maintains control far enough to make your eyesight the limiting factor.
-Flight time... about 5 or 6 minutes. I bought 5 extra batteries so I can get lots of time before recharging.
-Cons?.... Just 2... In the two faster, more responsive flight modes the yaw control is too sensitive. AND when the battery runs out, the motors just quit and the bird falls without warning. The Cheerson starts to loose power and gently looses altitude until it can't fly any more. The UDI becomes a bit less powerful and then just switches off and comes crashing to the ground.
Overall, this is the best 30 bucks I've spent in a LONG time. A very enjoyable toy that you don't outgrow.
Also, my cat is terrified.
