So, I really would give this drone 4.5 stars if possible, but I'm rounding up to 5.
I'll start with the only negative thing, which is related to some of the positives about the drone as well. It is a very quick, jumpy sort of drone. DEFINITELY not for indoor flying -- this thing is made for the great outdoors. It is FAST, and tough to control with precision because of its light weight and powerful motors. This probably is not for beginning drone pilots.

That being said, this thing is absolutely fun to fly outside! Like I said, it's fast! This drone LOOKS like a racing drone, and it certainly flies like it too. There are 3 "speed" levels, and each time you turn it on, it defaults to "medium". I've only flown this a few times on the fast mode, as it'll take lots of practice and my own quick reflexes to fully control it and take advantage of its speed on the high mode.

The FPV feature works wonderfully! The remote comes with a holder for my cell phone. I downloaded the app from the Google Play store (on my Galaxy S7), connected to the drone's wifi signal, and I was up and running right away.
Not only can you take pictures and video using the app, but you can control the drone! I love this feature, and I haven't seen this yet on any other FPV drone I have flown. Usually the FPV is just for viewing and taking pictures and video.

Range is pretty decent -- as small as this drone is, the range is pretty much as far as you can accurately see it. The headless feature seems to work as well as other drones I have tried. I prefer not to use it though, and keep it in standard mode and let me fully control the direction and orientation of the drone.

RFD: This review is for the "UDI RC Eagle Drone with Wide Angle 720P HD Camera Virtual Reality Mode Real time FPV Wifi Quadcopter with Headless Mode, Return to Home, Bonus extra battery"

When I first received my quadcopter I had the app installed and ready to go and expected to be able to fly the quadcopter while looking at the screen only. I was disappointed that that wasn't going to become a reality. There is a slight delay in the video display that makes it difficult to be able to avoid obstacles while using the screen only. If you look at this quadcopter as just a camera quadcopter then the wifi link is a bonus in that you can see what you are taking a picture of or at least if your video is in frame.

The quadcopter records to it's own sd card so the quality there is better than you get on your phone.

I deducted the one star for my own disappointment i guess. The FPV does work, there is just the inherent lag with the wifi signal.

I look forward to many videos from this thing of the tops of the houses in my neighborhood and possibly even some parks!

I recommend this to anyone who would like to see what they are recording while they fly.

I received this quadcopter at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion in this review.

First, let me say that this quadcopter is AWESOME. I have been really enjoying this quadcopter and it really does outperform other quadcopters in this price range. I'll start by looking at the controller. The controller is a very ergonomic and feels good in the hands. The controller is designed to feel smooth in the hands as opposed to other controllers that are boxes with jagged edges and such. The control sticks are especially cool on this controller because they feel like little teeth digging into your thumbs to help you be more precise when controlling the drone and to prevent your thumbs from slipping away from the control sticks. The phone holder does not tighten down as much as I would like it to as far as the rotation goes. This might mean that it could move with a slight push, but it's not that big of a deal. The clamps that actually hold the phone into the controller work just fine, so if there was any rotation of the platform, it would still hold onto the phone with no problems.
The drone itself is built very well and I was actually surprised at how compact this drone is. In one of my pictures I have it next to a soda can for size comparison and for the number of things this drone is capable of doing, I thought it would be a little bigger. The drone is so compact that unfortunately it does not have a power switch and the layout of the battery compartment and the SD card is a little odd, but it's manageable. Since I like to have one battery in the drone already, I have found that it is possible to stick the battery in the compartment and just leave it unplugged and it stores just fine. I really like that even at this price range it came with an extra battery and a name brand SD card. The fact that this came with a name brand card, as other reviewers have mentioned, is just awesome.

This drone has more options for flying than any other drone I've ever flown. We choose how we want to fly it. App controller? Gravity control? Old fashioned remote? No problem! Even though I was a little worried that the Wi-Fi would cut out even in the confined spaces of my living room, that did not happen.

So far, my favorite flying method is with the remote controller together with the phone (optional), so I can see what the drone sees. Gravity control is a new feature for me. We still need the left hand to control lift, but the rest is done by tilting the phone in the direction we want the drone to fly. I have less control with this method, trying to remember what to do with my left hand as the phone has to stay in motion. Using the phone app as the remote controller is not too bad, but we don't get the tactile stimulation to remind us which direction we are turning the drone.

Flying features include 360 degree flips, return to home (which actually is pretty accurate even in just my home office), and headless mode. It has an onboard camera and comes with a micro SD card with a card reader. One of the only things I don't like about the camera is it works only with the app. I can't find a button on the remote controller to take pics and video. The good thing is everything gets recorded on the card, although photos get recorded on the card and the phone.

The drone has a virtual reality mode we could use with a VR headset. Even though I owned on of those, I did not try out the VR feature. VR makes me feel dizzy. I did look at the image on the phone to see what I would have seen with that headset on, and it's the view from the camera, split into two images to make it 3D when worn a few inches from our eyes.
