I recently bought a Fire 4K HDTV stick for my Sony TV. Unfortunately, my TV’s HDMI ports are on the far left side of the TV and are also in an indented cut out. That indention made it impossible to plug the stick directly into gen TV without using the dongal that Amazon provides with the stick. So, the stick worked great, but it stuck out of the side of of the TV and drooped down. Aesthetically it wasn’t ideal. This 90 degree M-F HDMI worked perfectly. First off, I think this is a sturdier solution than the dongal shipped with the stick. Second I now have the stick totally hidden behind the TV. So, my aesthetic objection is resolved. Very happy so far.
