I purchased this for my kitchen floor. The old finish had been removed when I had new grouting done. I followed the directions to the letter. 2 weeks later it started to flake, and has continued everywhere! I contacted the seller, who refunded me for the purchase price of the floor wax. In his Email, I found him extremely rude. He told me which product to use to strip the finish off, and then told me I must have used hot waterwhen washing the glory, or I had high humidity. None of these are true.. I then asked if he would send me the stripper as a courtesy for having this major issue. I received another nasty email advising me a bad review would be removed, and Amazon would penalize me if I reached out to them directly- And no stripper would be sent!

Jun 2020: After using this Simoniz High Gloss product, I was impressed, HIGHLY impressed for a change.
After I getting on my hands and knees to diligently clean all the linoleum tiles (especially the white tiles) - I put down 3 coats.
It looks amazing, like it did when we moved in 10 years ago. BUT, I neglected to do a beforehand picture, aaarrgghhh...
I even tested it on old weather worn hard wood (previous owners at some point allowed rain to get in around the balcony door and soak that area, ruining it - you know, that brownish/grayish weathered look [it did not warp]).
--- 1 light coat of this product even made THAT look good.
Now I cannot wait for the wife to clean the hardwood. She says she wants to do a very thorough hardwood floor cleaning first - especially after I spent a week on my knees prepping the kitchen floor.
--- Again, 1 test coat on the old h/w looked good, 2 will make it look amazing
For those 'not' getting good results, very sorry you all are not having the look we got...
Usage - Jul 18, 2020 - hot outside / direct sunlight on half of kitchen floor / AC 'was' on:
a) cleaned linoleum very, VERY THOROUGHLY (even sanded down black gouge marks in the white tiles)
b) applied coating and let dry
c) did 1 side of kitchen at a time
--- bad mistake, you end up getting that thin overlap strip down the kitchen (very noticeable with that 'high gloss' sheen) - do entire floor area at one time if you can
---- this was why I ended up doing 3 coats instead of 2
d) after 3rd coat - you see the result in the pix
I still cannot get over the successful look - did not expect it to look that great!
DRYING time
--- dried on average 35 minutes each time
SLIP / Slipperiness
--- NONE at all, even after putting on those 3 coats - with socks, bare feet, sandals - NO sliding or slipping - the grip feels pretty good
White water spots that some have experienced
We have not encountered this issue on linoleum (white/black tiles) or that hardwood floor test.
--- Water drops hit it - it sits there until one of us notices the drops, then we dry it - no white spot residue at all left behind.
Floor remains AWESOME - we are 'definitely' going to use it on the rest of the floors (all hardwood).

Had some damaged floor finish below the sink in the circled area. Stripped the floor and did the finisher again - Jul 2022.
Did 2 coats this time and not 3 as I did last time. The first lay down of the floor finish was lasted 2 years, since Jun 2020.
(I used "Ace Floor Wax Stripper" which is VERY good - do a search on what I just quoted and patrick42stuff to find my write up on it on Wordpress site - since we cannot use direct links here...)

This is my first using the ultra high gloss on my marble floors and I'm so impressed. The shine is so beautiful and from what I can tell is quite durable. I in fact after trying 1 gallon was so impressed I ordered another 4 gallons to do my whole house. Its so nice to find a really good quality product. Definitely will recommend it to others and will be buying more in the future.
