This flashlight is exactly as advertised. . No it will not blind a bear, or replace a gun. . But given the same EXACT flashlight is advertised with those qualities at an average price of $70.00.. THIS IS A DECENT BUY . .

The flashlight is not likely to deliver 1000 lumens at any rate. . Especially if you are using AAA batteries. . You will get better results with a 18630 lithium ion battery (not included) BUT still nowhere near even 800 lumens.

Biggest complaint is the endcap switch. . Its flimsy and my bet is about 500 uses at top. . stay tuned, I will let you know. . Otherwise, the claim of waterproof is dubious at best with the weak spot being the slidable barrel for focus. . It will allow water to get in as will the lens assembly.

ADDENDUM: I have had this flashlight for a little more than a year, and did not use it much at all the first year. I started using it regularly back in Aug of 17. By Nov of that year, significant problems started showing up. Mostly due to poor electrical connections within the device. When turned on, the light fades in and out, goes on and off with movement, all in all, expect the flashlight to become unusable within a year or so.

The order was reasonably well packaged, and promptly shipped. .

This is a good flashlight .Very bright .There is only one problem with it , used it about 2 weeks now and sometimes it doesn't turn on when you push the end button . Have to push it about 4 times till the light turns on, other times it works good .Have a good charged battery in it at all times . Don't know what that might be . Thanks

I've only had this for a few days but I'll go ahead and give it five stars assuming it lasts and doesn't die on me. I recently saw the light when it comes to zoomable flashlights after I bought one at Costco. These are pretty handy when I go hunting and I may need to change between spotlight and broad area flood. There are a ton of them on market even though they all seem to come from the same manufacturer. My particular unit was shipped by "zhong xingfei" in the US and I received the light after a few days. Everything works as expected and the zoom feature is nice and smooth. Does it have 2000 lumens output? not even close, but it is very bright with a good 18650 battery. Speaking of which: I purchased this unit among other things because it comes with an adapter sleeve for 18650 batteries to keep them from rattling around, something some of the cheaper priced units do not include. It also has the ability to run with three AAAs, but that is a poor choice due to the low capacity of these batteries (about 1/3 of the capacity of 18650 cells); do yourself a favor and buy a quality 18650 charger and some decent batteries (none that include "...Fire" in the name).

Initially this worked okay, but you have to open it up to remove the battery pack every time it runs down, which sadly is often if you're using this flashlight often. Over the course of 3 months the thing has stopped working, and there is no warranty, and we can't for the life of us figure out how to fix it, so it is just garbage, and we're shopping for something better. We'll buy from someone that stands behind their product next time, and spend a little more for better quality. We liked the size of this for camping trips or carrying in the car, but sadly the durability just wasn't there. It is much brighter than my big mag light, but the mag light wins out for durability.

The eternal optimist, I bought 2 for vehicle emer and 1 spare. Thus far, this seems to be a good decision. As a reviewer indicated, his failed in one year. I've had these one day and have not run an obstacle course with one.
Given the ten buck price, a one-year life is acceptable in my (our) disposable world. I wouldn't bet a life on a ten buck light.
They appear to be well made though the AAA battery assembly differs over the lights. It's intuitive to install a battery based upon the spring at negative end and an immovable contact tab at the positive end. One bat assem used positive orientation for the 3 batteries. The other two batt assems used the typical; two batts with positive end in one direction and one batt oriented with negative in the same direction. Raised arrows on the 3 battery assems direct installation of all batteries installed with positive ends in same direction. This is small stuff indeed but I add this to help avoid difficulties for others. The image projected is definitely unusual but does not detract from performance. Without an explanation or any mention of this, I am left with the impression that this could be a Frankenstein light. Again, the price offers no illusions. Shipping for these 3 was incredibly slow. The proverbial slow boat from china may have become lost as well.
If these fail I'll try to remember to update this, if permitted. No news is good news?

I've got mine 5 months now and it's been great, dropped it a few times, got it soaking wet a couple and no glitches. I've read a lir if the complaints from "experts" saying it's a 100-200 lumen light, all I can say is it's bright and tested it af a friends job where they make outdoor lights for commercial use and with a fully charged 3000mah battery at 30" it put out 1670lumen. Also checked it in the shop with the meter used to check automotive headlamp strength and it pinned the meter(I forget the measurement). Maybe their batteries were weak or they were guessing but I'm very happy with it. Battery life seems good, if I could change anything I'd like the beam adjust sleeve to be not so easy to move. For under twenty dollars it's a great light.

It is very bright although i cannot verify if it is 2000 Lumen, it is many times brighter than my 300 Lumen. It gives whiter light than other 300 / 7W flashlights. I have been collecting flashlights since the Maglite days in the 80's, this is by far the best balance of light and cost. Durability is yet to be tested and seen, hence 5 stars for now.
It has no problem to light up my 300 sqft bedroom entirely when I beam it to the white ceiling. My wife commented that it is almost like those bright auto headlights....

This product is easily one of the best buys ive had on amazon. I had a few extra dollars sitting around so i though what the heck. As it turns out this little device is awesome. With the right batteries this is no doubt 2000 lumens, and whats more is that it can zoom, has a strobe light, an SOS signal in Morse code, and has 3 brightness settings. Simply by slightly clicking the on button (not all the way) your able to switch through the features. Awesome product. Only issue was shipping took a long while and i ended up forgetting i bought it in the 2 months it took

I want to start off by saying it is no where near the lumens that it states BUT for the price you can't beat this flashlight I have several surefire lights and its brightness is comparable to my 200 lumen defender. I would definitely buy more of these to keep all around the house,car,boat or wherever as great disposables!!!!!
