I certainly have a more leveled opinion after reading this arresting commentary. As an African-American woman from Virginia, I've never read a book that centered African people's interests in the middle east the way Boof so skillfully and emphatically does here. The opening chapter, “DEAR BLACK AMERICA” has especially changed my thinking to be more about Africa and less about Palestine. Those Blacks who think Israel is racist will have a rude awakening as Boof brutally exposes a picture of the entire region. This is a must read for African Americans Scholars and activists as well as the Pro-Israel crowd I'm assuming will flock to this.

Kola says what she says out of love. If she is deemed controversial its because her views are critical of the powers that be.

I sincerely believe that this book should be required reading amongst Black people in the West. This book, and "The Authentic Black Man" should be required reading. I would go as far as to say all of her books should be read.

Kola's books are written beautifully. It is as if she is talking right in front of you. If it is shocking, it is out of love. She loves our people, Black Americans, dearly. The persecution she has gone through from all sides was to keep her voice shut out from us.

This voice that she has is uncompromising and it is the truth of what Black people truly need to hear.

She hates to fight, but she's adept at it

This is not a book for the politically correct or the faint-hearted. Kola Boof's writing is like a fist to the face. You won't find more honesty and fearlessness. "Undeated" is a very painful read. It's hard to believe that anybody survived such mistreatment without becoming a monster. Yes, Kola (she prefers being addressed that way) is personally opposed to much of what people revere, and she uses earthy language to express herself. Many readers will find this book extremely offensive. I would ask that you read it twice before you make up your mind about it.

Kola has a gift for aphorisms: "Life is here to kill us."

But before we die, we live. And it's while we live that we make the decisions that determine the sort of people we are when it's time for us to die.

"There is a terrible worldwide virus cocktail of Anti-Semitism being aimed at the world’s Jews; a new age and socially acceptable ‘anti-Jew’ sentiment that I feel even world leaders are taking part in."

Absolutely. There's no doubt. Which is why Kola Boof's unique voice is important. Her fans say that if she hasn't offended you in some way, just give it another book or two. She doesn't offend me; she makes me glad that she's here, yelling her head off.
