I ended up getting this phone for my dad who kept breaking the charging port on his original phone. I probably should have looked into something like this sooner. Since this phone came with the charging station and was told it worked with Metro by T-Mobile I purchased it. I'm hoping it'll make it easier for him to charge his phone without any issues.
Now when we went to activate the phone I had to upgrade my dads plan from the $25 to the $30 plan because it wasn't an actual metro device.
When making a call the phone beeps sort of similar to the sound of a busy signal instead of the ringing sound we're all used to.
The phone has an SOS button on the back that can be set to call any 1# and/or send a text message up to 5#s.
So far we like the phone. It's working out well for my dad and we haven't had an issues as of yet 10/20/2021. If we run into any problems with the phone. I'll come back and update my rating & review

Wonderful unlocked flip phones for seniors I heard. I am very pleased with the UNIWA phone. It is perfect for my Dad, who only needs a easy to use flip phone. He just wanted a phone that made calls, nothing fancy. my dad had problems swiping the previous smartphone...now it's easy to just flip it open and make or answer a call. It can text message, take photos, etc., but it does a terrific job at just being a phone. I would recommend this phone for anyone who has low vision or hearing loss.
