PURITO is a combined word of "Purify" and "To”(comes from a Chinese character, 土 meaning “Soil”).
“Purify” means to purify their natural ingredients to create safe and clean products.
“To” means to go back to basics to strengthen and repair collapsed skin barriers.
Back to the Basics. Just like a healthy root grows a healthy tree, health is the root of glowing skin.
Dramatic short-term results are exciting, but they don’t last. With PURITO you will enjoy life-long healthy skin!
1. Does it not have any scent at all?
it has been renewed without essential oil. This natural sunscreen is unscented.
2. What is the difference between a physical sunscreen and a chemical sunscreen?
Physical sunscreens act as a filter that blocks UV radiation by depositing a physical barrier on top of the skin to bounce off UVA and UVB rays. Chemical sunscreens block UV rays by absorbing UVA and UVB rays and then destroying them by converting them to heat.
Physical sunscreens are made from ingredients that are safer than those used in chemical sunscreens.
3. How did PURITO improve the stiff texture and white cast characteristic of physical sunscreens?
The shortcomings of physical sunscreens were compensated using a 70% water base in combination with our core technology. PURITO produced a daily sunblock which is transparent like a moisture cream, spreads with moisture when applied on the skin, does not smear your makeup, and adheres lightly to the skin.
4. What is the meaning of non-nano?
It is very important for sun care products to not be absorbed into the skin while blocking out UV rays. The ingredients in physical sunscreen could be made of nano-sized particles to reduce the white cast residue and improve its feel when you apply it. But this results in the undesirable effects of the UV blocker getting absorbed into the skin, causing skin troubles. Or if used as a spray, the UV blocker could trigger a respiratory disease. What we did with Comfy Water Sunblock was use a non-nano sized inorganic ingredient which does not get absorbed into the skin and thus has a much milder and safer effect on the skin.
5. What is the difference between SPF and PA?
SPF is a measure of how well a product blocks out UVB rays, which can cause sunburns or skin cancer by damaging the epidermis. The higher the number that comes after SPF, the higher the UVB ray blocking rate. PA is a measure of how well a product blocks out UVA rays, which with their long wavelength, can reach into the dermis and cause the formation of wrinkles, freckles, and darkening of the skin. PA is expressed with the ‘+’ symbol. The greater the number of ‘+’ in a PA rating of a sunblock, the greater its UVA blocking ability.
6. What kind of skin type is it good for?
With Comfy Water Sunblock, skin care for a wide range of skin types is possible. For people with oily skin, the sunblock aids in taking care of sebum because it contains zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which adsorb onto the sebum. Because the sunblock is water based, it is also suited for dry skin care.
7. Normally, physical sunscreens cause lifting or smearing of makeup. Can I apply Comfy Water Sunblock before applying my makeup?
PURITO Comfy Water Sunblock’s 70% water base and core technology causes the sunblock to soak into the skin, preventing the makeup from lifting or smearing. You can use the sunblock before applying makeup.
As a precaution, we recommend a patch-test for those having sensitive skin before use. If you have any allergic reaction to the product such as redness, hives, etc, stop using the product immediately.

A wearable daily sun care cream that feels soft without the stiffness
It is a physical sunscreen for daily use that is filled with 70% of water and covers your skin with a moist and clear layer, and the cream applies very uniformly and smoothly on the skin.
works by sitting on top of the skin to deflect and scatter damaging UVA rays away from the skin.
* Essential oil-Free
• The sunblock is made from ingredients with an EWG Green Level rating of 1 or 2 and so it can be used safely on even the most sensitive skins.
• It is a non-nano physical sunscreen that reflects and scatters 100% of UV rays from the surface of the skin. It can be used by pregnant women and children, as well as everyone else in your family.
• It is a fresh and light physical sunscreen without the stiff and sticky feeling and makeup smearing effect you experience with other sunblocks, through its 70% water-based composition and PURITO’s proprietary technology, leaving you feeling soft and fresh.
• An SPF 50+ PA++++ rating means the sunblock thoroughly and safely blocks out UV rays.
• It has an anti-inflammatory effect and therefore it is effective for acne care. And because it uses non-nano zinc oxide as the main ingredient, no irritation for even sensitive skins.
How to apply the sunblock properly and smartly!
Step1. If your skin is dry, apply some CICA cream on your skin before using the sunblock, to form a layer of moisture.
Step2. Squeeze out onto your index finger, from the middle creases to the fingertip. Don’t apply the whole amount all at once; apply in small portions to cover the desired area of your skin by gently tapping with your finger and spreading the sunblock lightly around.
Step3. Reapply the sunscreen every 3 hours.
The right way to cleanse the physical sunscreen
It is hard to remove the mineral sunscreen remaining on your skin by just washing the skin with water or cleansing water alone. The physical sunscreen must be removed softly with a facial cleaning tool to clean your skin completely without leaving any residue.
Wash mildly and cleanly using PURITO’s Mochi Mochi Konjac Sponge!

EWG Green Level, Safe UV filters: Are they effective enough to protect your skin?
1. UV rays – UVA? UVB?
PA & SPF: WHAT DO THESE LABELS ACTUALLY MEAN?
2. PA (Protection Grade of UVA) ranges from PA+ to PA++++
PA (Protection Grade of UVA) ranges from PA+ to PA++++, and it signifies of the level of protection from UVA rays. The PA rating was adapted from the PPD (Persistent Pigment Darkening) method
3. Results of the Test ( PA )
This test uses UVA radiation to cause a persistent darkening or tanning of the skin. PPD(PFA) is tested on a variety of volunteers who are exposed to UVA light. All test subjects are examined how long it takes for their skin to tan by UVA. Then the researchers compare the results between protected and unprotected skin.
PURITO Comfy Water Sun Block is PA++++, PPD18+ sunscreen
4. Results of the Test ( SPF )
SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. It is a measurement of how long the sunscreen will defend your skin from UVB. SPF is tested on 10 variety people and it compares how much longer it takes for UVB to cause redness on the skin.

I am half black and half white and I have light brown skin and I have tried literally dozens and dozens and dozens of mineral sunscreens over several decades and I haven’t been able to find one that doesn’t leave a white cast or isn’t thick or greasy or drying, etc. This really is invisible on my skin but there was a learning curve to figure out how to apply it. It will pill if you rub too much. I put some in my palms, rub them together and rub all over my face but the secret is to stop rubbing while it’s still wet. Once it’s evenly distributed over my skin, I stop rubbing and let it dry. If I keep rubbing it will start pilling. I can even reapply it the same way with no problems. I have dry skin so I use a moisturizer underneath and my skin looks dewy and fresh, non greasy, and it feels so light on my skin. I seriously love it.
If you’ve been searching for a mineral sunscreen that goes on like water (similar to how smooth the chemical ones are) with literally no white cast, then look no further. I’ve used different mineral sunscreens in the past from both Japanese and Korean brands but they’ve never really played well with my rosacea and eczema. From hidden fragrances to bad white casts, it was such a drag to put on sunscreen.
With this purito sunscreen, I get full broad spectrum coverage without the heavy sticky feeling of traditional mineral sunscreens; I’m assuming this is due to their water-based formula. To give you some context, I work out often and have slight eczema on my eyelids. The purito sunscreen does not irritate my eye eczema as well as when I’m sweating in the gym, a huge win for me!! (Not too sure if it’s actually sweat resistant, would love to see official confirmation)
I understand that some people have been experiencing pilling upon the first or second application- I’ve actually only experienced this once and I think I know why. From my experience, the second application of the sunscreen started piling up because the moisture retention on my face was pretty bad/dry. To avoid this from reoccurring, I made sure I was using enough product to keep my face hydrated and plumped throughout the day. This seemed to fix the issue for me though your mileage may vary. I’d recommend not having your second layer of sunscreen be too thick.
No Purito did not contact me to write this review. I’m doing it on my own good will because I totally understand the frustration of finding a good sunscreen if you have sensitive, rosacea, or eczema prone skin. This is a clean, lightweight formula that goes on smoothly without making you look like a spooky ghost. I don’t write reviews often, so that should say a lot!
