When the GPS signal is weak in the flight environment, the drone may lose the connection with the remote control. When the Upair Drone goes missing for more than 3 seconds, it will automatically return to the Home Spot you set before taking the flight.

*Low Power Return:

Upair One Plus USES a new generation of smart batteries, which can accurately reflect the battery power and automatically calculate the duration of the aircraft battery power.When it detects that the battery level cannot support the operation, the drone will automatically return to the Home Spot safely.

This is the second one that i have gotten from Amazon. The first one had a battery problem on the controller. Customer service took care of that,but had to return it. The camera gimbal stopped working. The New one is just great. I have flown it 14 times now. Battery time is about 17 minutes. I just love this drone.

The first flight went well. The second flight I tested the “follow me” feature. It promptly flew to 100 meters high and then few away from me (approx 400m). I recovered the drone through the controls and flew it back via the map on my cell phone. The third flight, I tried the altitude hold feature. While in this mode, the drone flew down into the roof of my house with enough force to bounce off of it and land on the ground. I contacted Upair directly about the problem. They state that if I gav them a 5 star review, they would exchange it! VERY thankful to Amazon and their return policy. This drone is on its way back without the 5 star review!!

I had 2 Phantom 3 Standards and they were stolen. I have PTSD very bad and my DJI Drones was a real help and release for me. I have honorably served in the Marine Corps, and two honorable discharge from the Army N.G. I have also worked as an EMT-A and a police officer. So from all that I have done and seen I was diagnosed with severe PTSD. So I used my drones as therapy, and ironic enough I saw an article that other disabled vets are doing the same thing. Here is the review, the UPair One Plus arrived today and the first thing I noticed it appeared to be pre-owned when it was supposed to be new. The battery in the charger was plugged in and it is advised from what I have seen you unplug the battery in the controller when not in use. So I started to charge the drone battery so I tried to turn it on and it was completely drained so I knew my battery life was shot. tried to charge it and it would not charge and it didn't even try to charge. So I boxed it up and sent it back. They stood behind there product gave me good deal.

can NOT unlock motors.??

Im ashamed to admit and apologize. So the youtube videos on this drone and the unclear directions beware of. This drobe you HAVE TO calibrate first before motors unlock. Follow closely to the image on your phone exactly or it will not calibrate. It took several tries before it said success. At that time motors unlocked and works pretty good,. The position hold isnt the best . And landing the motor doesbt turn off quick either by pulling down on control or self lsnding. So better be on a comlletely level servive or it will turn over and keep spinng and cause damage to blades or drone. Try calibrating before asking for replacement. I never reveived my replacement so i pulled it back out and seen where i went wrong. Hope this helps for those that ca t get motors to start.

Not one that I would recommend. I ended up sending this back after it flew into my house by itself twice and into the stair railing.
I bought a DJI Phantom and am very pleased with it. I have flow it many times without any issues. The video and pics are very good. I wish I bought this one first.

Hard to find parts. I crashed it had to order new camera and Gimbel. The power flex ribbon on camera severed. Once that's severed then it's $150 for replacement Gimbel and camera. The crash was totally my fault I misjudged the heighth of a tree when I was flying it home. It rolled from tree limb to tree limb all the way to the ground. Easy crash. All was fine except the power flex cord to the camera and Gimbel.

Currently unpacked drone, and battery will not charge. Followed all instructions from a poorly written manual. Will be sending it back unless customer service responds with something. The drone appears to be well made, however, back to the manual. It states to connect your phone to the drones default WiFi password, except no where does it state what the default password is.
