Unit failed after a few uses. I used this for our 3d printer and during a print I noticed a smell. The printer shut off and I noticed the plug was hot and smelled really bad. The switch melted. This could have turned out much worse. See attached photo.

After two weeks of continuous operation the switch contacts burned out and melted the switch casing, almost causing a fire. The switch and fuse states it is rated for 10 Amps but I had it supplying less than 5.

I will not return the switch due to the hassle. I simply bypassed the switch portion to continue using the plug and fuse.

Using this with my TableTop Arcade Cabinet. Like that it is fused and has and LED indicator when "ON". Doesn't cone with any wiring diagrams, but got it figured out. Posting some photos as a guide for those that want a the rocker switch to illuminate when ON.

The plastic around the terminals melted after 3 weeks while the fuse stayed intact. I was using this to switch a 250 watt heat lamp. This switch was far removed from the heat source in ambient temps of 76-80 degrees.
not very happy and missed my return date by the time I got around to it.

I bought this to work with one of my temperature controllers. After about a month of use, the switch burned out just like everybody else's here. I only assume that the others who say it works well aren't using it closer to the 10 Amp limit as the others here. This really only handles 5/6 amps max before fireworks start to occur. Be careful when you wire this up.

I've gone through two of these switches-- both have had their top switched terminal melt and charred the plastic and crimp connector I had attached. Both were at under 150W load (1.28A at 117V measured RMS) which is way less than the stated 10A. One melts? Well that could just be a fluke or a poor connection on my part. Two melt in the exact same place? These are accidents waiting to happen. Both of mine lasted a little under a year, but I imagine at their rated capacity they would burn out in no time at all.

cheap. Quality meets the price. One piece fell off from the switch. I will ask the seller to replace the item.

The switch component sparked and melted after about 4 months of regular use. Peak load was only around 3.3 Amps 120V, with the average being closer to 1 amp, so nowhere even close to the supposed rating of the fuse. I really liked the concept of having a plug, fuse, and illuminated switch all in one compact package, but much like some of the other reviews have stated, this unit is a fire hazard.
