this is basically a book of highlights, while of course it's unrealistic to assume the author will pick the same highlights as anyone else...not going to please everybody about what was selected to review and what was left out. still i enjoyed the book as i like to travel and i'm always looking to be informed about where i'm going. it has historical information about each place chosen. i didn't give it a full 5 stars because there were no pictures in the book. call me childish, but i require pictures!

Great for anyone planning a road trip or an arm chair trip. Great to share with children if you can't take them there, at least show them and discuss
