Bought this to replace some pitifully old played-out cheap aluminum loaf pans.
First of all, the heft of this pan is incredible. It weighs just over one full pound. Empty. Yes, we weighed it.
The banana bread trial loaf looks great - evenly browned on all sides, released easily (which the fluted sides & bottom must help with). The end piece of that loaf was perfectly browned on every surface, neither over or under done. So far, so good.
The loaf has cool fluted lines baked into the sides & bottom. Kind of geeky? Maybe, but we're nerds, what can we say? :)

Excellent loaf pan, the baking results are perfect - my breads turn out beautifully. The pan is sturdy and has great finish, unlike the other brands that you will find in India. Should last for a long time with proper care - water has a tendency to deep into the edges of the multi-layer surface, so make sure that the pan is completely dry before you store it, otherwise might get rusted. Leaving the washed pan in a warm oven might be a good idea.
