USA Today contains a lot of news and interesting stories. For the most part, its focus is mostly on breadth rather than depth. However, occasionally there are some interesting, in-depth articles that seem to be well-researched. If you want a good overview of the news, this paper does it.

This subscription is being offered under false pretenses. The "today's copy" of USA Today is NOT a complete copy of the paper. Example: One of the principal reasons for my own regular purchase of the hardcopy of this publication is its outstanding puzzle section -- eight -- count them -- very good puzzles in every issue. But this "copy" does not appear to have ANY puzzles at all. That's a deal breaker for me. If you are tempted to subscribe to these incomplete "copies", I would suggest you try to assure yourself that they will contain whatever sections of the paper are particularly important to you -- and that you do that before you let them have your money.

This paper has much information about business and the political process than our local paper. Like to read more about the economy and travel and business news and government issues than the people murdered last night.

There are better newspapers, but USA today does lend itself to kindle very well.
I like to buy all my media for my kindle one issue at a time. To be honest when I am in my roaming area on my cellphone, I get all my news from Flipboard. However I was off the coast near China standing watch on the stern of the vessel watching for pirates when I noticed my kindle had a signal. I down loaded a few newspapers and had a nice time catching up on the news, and thankfully saw no pirates. Since then when I am overseas, I find myself picking and choosing among the various news publications whenever I want to catch up with is going on in the world outside my little area.

Seems to be missing articles--e.g. I'll see a random headline and no body/article follows
