So my daughter was super excited to open this for Christmas and we got it out and played it today New Year’s Eve. Very cool until you are playing the game and you get confused because the Tower of the Gods color between the spot in the board and the color on the card are different.. with the price on this it’s disappointing …

    This turned out to be a great vanity Monopoly set. I love that they went all out and molded nice, weighted player pieces, unlike another branded fantasy movie Monopoly game which opted for cardboard printouts of characters on plastic stands. (Here's looking at you, Princess Bride. Boooo! Boooo! ) It was the one feature that put me over the top to get this one and not the other. The board art here is fun and colorful, and even my younger kids that are just now delving into Zelda fandom can enjoy it. The cardstock for the pick-a-card places, is even better than the original Monopoly.

    I absolutely love Monopoly. Well, sometimes, when I win. Of course the game definitely teaches us a lot, such as disappointment and a new found love for money and properties. Also it teaches an understanding that some of us should never become realtor's. All joking aside, The Legend of Zelda Collector's edition is a pretty amazing concept.

    The art on the game board is really beautiful. That is one of the best parts about the game. I love the fact that the money is organized as rupees rather than just regular money which it makes it feel more authentic.
    Game pieces are okay.
    Cons: I don't have very many other than some slight ones about the designing of the storage unit.
    Their seems to be a lot of interesting number empty slots on the actual plastic storage unit in the bottom of the box. I am not sure if this is designed to hold more pieces that you can buy separately or it's something that is just their. It's a small pet peeve of mine, but why put more holes than where they need to be? The rules really make you feel like you are in the game, but I really wish monopoly when coming out with these games might make some character game pieces instead. I bought a hobbit one similar to this and it had weapons also as pieces. I just think it would be worth a lot more to take the time to actually make character pieces and I always found this interesting that they haven't really done that. Overall, great time killer and fun.

    This is awesome! A beautiful board, awesome references, just...just plain out awesome! I do have a little bit of a complaint though. So I saw the pictures for the pieces and I was already claiming the Hylian Shield as my piece. The picture of the game piece is amazing... The actual piece itself...not so much. Kinda looks a little like someone cut out the shield shape, and threw mashed potatoes on it.. So that was a pretty big disappointment for my part. The Hylian Shield is a HUGELY iconic symbol of Zelda series and I was crushed on how it as a game piece looked. Also thought that calling the Monopoly houses and the hotels "Deku Sprouts and Trees" was kinda silly when they look nothing like the actual thing. The thing is, I can live with the Sprout and Trees, but It honestly kinda irks me to see the shield in such rotten shape. I still highly recommend this for any collector of Monopoly or The Legend of Zelda enthusiast.

    I love it, it's super fun! I had the 'collector edition' before this. I'd gotten it as a birthday gift but my son destroyed it after I'd only played once ): that one was a bit better, but this one is cheaper and the only difference is it doesn't have the 'extras' folder. There were extra features about how to change up the game. There was also a map, I believe.
