My four year old (soon to be five in two months) LOVES this. He is obsessed with all things Mario, and his favorite part of playing Super Mario on the Wii is the red mushroom that allows you to try to match two power-ups. This game is great fun for him!

I bought this game for my six-year-old nephew. He's a Super Mario nut. He loves ALL things Super Mario. He also has an Attention Deficit Disorder. This game is fun and challenging! It was frustrating on my part to teach him not to cheat and to rely on his memory. There were cheating and taking a sneak peek LOL, but I think I'm making progress with him. Each time we played it, I noticed that he began to notice which card I picked up and returned (if he has the matching card). This game is good at teaching your child discipline and to wait for your turn. I don't have a stellar memory, so it was fun to see how many times I've forgotten where the matching card was (it's safe to say that I've forgotten a lot - there was a lot of self-restraint on my part in order not to cheat LOL). I almost felt my brain's synapses firing. The cards are very durable and solid. The colors are vibrant. The pictures are fun to look at. There are a total of 72 cards, so they covered quite a lot of space on the floor. I'm a long-time Super Mario fan and I didn't realize there were so many characters! Sometimes, he creates his own game using the cards. He loves looking at the pictures of his favorite characters. If your child is a Super Mario fan, then you can't go wrong with this game. Unlike games like Candy Land, this game won't bore you to tears. Plus, in my opinion, kids under the age of 6 will still like this game (even though they won't be able to play it properly). My other three year-old nephew loves to look at the pictures and pile each card on on top of the other.

My son is a Video Game player and it is hard to get him to play games that do not plug in. These cards are wonderful since they have the characters he loves from the video games which encourages him to play.

We bought this Mario memory for our son's 2nd birthday b/c he LOVES mario. It's really cute and more. The cards teach him all the characters. Although he can't play the actual memory game yet. He's so smart. He knows all the characters now and its really adorable. I did play this game with his little cousin and the notes on most of the different cards make this game really fun. It's alot better than the regular memory game. I highly recommend this game!!!

This is the second time that we've purchased this (wore the first set out in a couple of years) and I would purchase it again if I needed to! Don't get me wrong, the quality is amazing. The cards are thick and have some sort of thin laminate on them so they stand up fairly well to small spills and whatnot. Easy to clean if that happens. Have never really had them soaked though - don't think they'd stand up to that. The pictures on the cards are great and all of my kids just love to play with them. It's a great game for all ages. Even when we're not playing the game, my three year old daughter runs around with the different cards and acts like they're little figures or dolls and has them do stuff like cook in the play kitchen and whatnot. It is literally hours of amusement!

This product arrived quickly an undamaged.

This game is a lot of fun. My wife and I recently purchased it for a family cosplay birthday party and everyone loved it… both adults and children alike. It was fun seeing how the paradigm of Mario has already spanned multiple generations of parents and children.

Our only complaint consists in the fact that there is no playing board to set the cards on nor play the game. However, this was a very minor issue and not truly important to the functionality of the game.

Overall, we enjoyed this product and it was a major hit at the party.

We hope this review helps

This was a Christmas present for my 5 year old son. We absolutely love it and have played it every day since it was opened. The cards are great quality with good looking pictures and enough thickness to resist the destructive touch of a curious toddler. I considered giving it a lower rating because I always lose against my 5 year old (how embarrassing), but I guess I can't hold that against the product...

***UPDATE: 2/16/2016***
We have continued to play this game every day since Christmas. I still can't beat my 5-year-old very often, but now my 2-year-old has joined the mix. I did not think that a child her age would be capable of playing, but she has done very well to make matches and wait her turn when she knows where a pair is. She has even beaten us once, which is fantastic on her. It appears this product dips fairly well below the recommended age range. Worth every penny.

I played memory a lot as a kid, and had a lot of fun with it. We had the old board game, as well as some old PC versions (remember the days when you could buy a CD with 100's of games on it? no?), but I think this Mario set is the best one yet. 72 cards is massive when laid out (especially since there's only one match for each), and it makes for a fun, challenging game. And of course the bonus is, you can get item matches (green shells, coins, etc) to throw off other players or get extra matches. The cards are nice and sturdy (a must for the constant flipping), and the pictures are nice too. Definitely recommended.
