Purchased this item for a upcoming trip. When the box arrived I was pleased with the stoutness of the carrier. Once I opened up the box I noticed there wasn't any assembly directions which really sucked because I had never put one of these things together. After a while I figured out how things were supposed to come together. Once I started the assembly I noticed that there was 4 holes that were off center.. i had to bust out the drill bits to open up the holes ..once I did it fit together perfectly. I must say the b product is beefy.. didn't have any issues on our 500 mile trip. The add states the the cover that comes with it was only a cover.. not a bag like the add states.. other than the missing directions and off center holes it a solid product. For the price and what you get its definitely worth the price.

Used to move a full Yukon that needed three more totes worth of stuff moved from Iowa to Nevada. The cover is awesome to keep the elements out of the totes. The bungy strap to keep it down and the included ratcheting tie down to keep it tight. Just checked when getting gas that everything was secure and didn't have any issues what so ever. Even threw my brother in law on it and drove around the property prior to the totes and it is build great! I would recommend this to anyone.

There were a few small spots that look like possible rust so I am going to blast or sand the small spots and repaint them. Only thing I would say keep an eye on.

This is trash. Must've received a used item. Don't buy from them unless you want to receive a disappointing quality. The mesh metal on the bottom is sharp and cut me as well. The waterproof bag is a joke. It's not waterproof and not sturdy as in the picture. Broken pieces as well. You can see in the picture

Ordered the hitch carrier for my car. I needed more storage for my daughters wedding & camping trips. Pleased that it folds up when not needed. The only issue was that the fixator pieces were not mentioned in the installation, just the parts list.
I was able to google the item & found a YouTube video that covered it. It definitely helped make it sturdier.

So I didn't have a very high expectation of this given the low price. It was very easy to assemble however all the holes lined up perfectly. I was very surprised to have the anti-rattle clamp included. This locks the carrier to the receiver to prevent the rack from wobbling. I have used this so far to carry firewood and a generator with fuel on the back of my SUV. The folding feature is very nice as well keeps this out of the way when its not in use. The cover is more of a piece of fabric sewn into a 5 sided bag. It is not a zippered bag so it is Ok, but don't expect a whole lot of it. I wouldn't trust luggage in it to be waterproof, but fine to keep things clean. Very well done!

Good value but beware of the "waterproof" bag

I am happy that we purchased this cargo carrier, BUT I wish we had purchased another waterproof bag to store the bags in because the suitcases and everything in them were soaked by the time we reached our destination. The bag should not be labeled as waterproof. It is very thin and completely useless. However, the carrier was fantastic and we really liked the net and straps that came with it.

This was kind of a pain to put together, and I definitely needed help, but it does seem sturdy and worked well. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't fold up when you have nothing on it. You literally have to unscrew the hitch part of it and reassemble it if you want it in the upright position. Also, the waterproof bag is absolute junk, and the cargo net was really loose. I'd probably spend a bit more money next time on something that folds and has a better cargo bag, but overall it works so that's what really mattered.
