I've been Airsofting for about 5 years. I have had an impressive collection of weapons from $20 spring pistols, to the $325 Marui Mp-5. this gun has been my favorite. If you're looking for a durable gun, with a steady wieght you'll fall in love.

Good Aspects:

1. Hard hitter-hits around 300-320 fps using .20's

2. Good wieght-This gun is fairly heavy, giving you a sense of reality

3. Durable-I was never one who could treat my guns with respect, this gun took the most beating

4. Wonderful price- this gun costs about as much as most spring pistols, and considering the quality of the gun it should be worth much more

5. Slam fire-just hold the trigger and pump, it'll fire until you decide to stop

6. Accuracy-Shoots very straight, no gun will be better until you get out of the $100 range

Bad Aspects:

1. Aiming-with this gun's short length it is very difficult to aim, I'd recommend for those of you planning to use this for longer distance get the full or retractable stock

2. High-cap Mag-at first I was excited, but then it got annoying, you just can't empty it fast enough, I'd recommend getting two small mags

3. Wieght-yes, the wieght is both a pro and a con, THIS GUN GETS HEAVY, it's small and heavy for it's size without a sling you'll get annoyed

I won't lie, I bought this gun for $30 and after a year of punishment it finally did break, but I'm sure the constant playing with no maintenance took it's toll. I'm not hesitating to purchase another and I would recommend this gun to ANY Airsofter. New, or pro. My friend has an M-700, for anyone who doesn't know, it's an extremely powerful gas sniper rifile. At thirty feet I had no fear about engaging him with this gun. It has great accuracy, amazing power, and for this price you won't find anything better.

A Kid's Review on January 24, 2007
I got my gun a couple days ago and it rocks!!! When i was shooting it for the first time i noticed that it was going so fast i could hardly see the bb. I shot my friend from about 10-15 feet away and it left a bloody welt and he was complaning of it the next day. When i had a war with it finnaly everyone was afraid of me. So they didn't want to play point blank. The only downside of this gun is the larger clip has to be cocked downward to shot it. other than that it is AWESOME!!!

My son loved this gun when we gave it to him for Christmas. It is very well made and has enough power to allow the kids to compete in airsoft battles at the local paint ball and airsoft range. If you are considering buying this for a young airsoft lover, DO IT they will love it too. This is not as powerful as some of the more expensive models, but for the price it is perfect for the beginner to compete safely. I grabbed mine up during a closeout/blowout sale and really hit the jackpot with this affordable gift.

i have to say i am very VERY pleased with this gun and UTG i plan on buying again from them soon.
this gun has many great qualities that i enjoy. even though i am only a newby to airsoft this is a really good gun and i intend to use in many battles to come.

pros:
realistic weight,
fps great about 380 with .12 grams (although i would suggest you get some .20 grams (fps about 320) for it so you can see what you are shooting at. :) the .12 grams are just to fast to see in battle.
easy to cock,
very low price for such a nice gun.

cons:
sometime trigger gets stuck and it fires as soon as i cock it. best way to fix that is put your finger behind the trigger to keep it in forward position.
when dirt gets in the cocking mechanism it makes a small squeak.

all around excellent gun. i have had it for 5 months or so and it has not failed me.
i will be reporting on another gun from utg very soon.

I bought this gun a year ago, and it has never let me down. It shoots about 357 fps (Feet per second) and is accurate. It is made of very heavy plastic, and is a very very sturdy gun for only $25. I would recommend this gun to an intermediate player who wants the best gun possible for cheap and has wars not just in the back yard, but out in the woods with lots of friends. Tremendous side kick if you own a good AEG, or great main gun if you like to snipe shot. I play with a group of guys who all have $100+ AEGs, so you have to be careful and be more like a sniper well hidden. Now I know there is a little better guns out there for a sniper, but there is none even half as good for this price!!
I prefer to use .2 gramm BBS because they shoot straighter, the .12 tend to curve strait up even with hop up off.

Pros: 8
Very heavy plastic
Metal trigger
rails
slide lever to adjust hop up
slam fire (shoots as fast as you can pump when holding the trigger)
metal barrel
working safety button
very upgradable

Cons: 2
The mags are not your normal ones. They hold 17 bbs a time, but i have never run out in one round before.
a little loud to fire

I bought two M87SA shotguns from amazon for a total of $60 with free shipping. They both worked the exact same on arrival which shows consistency. At first, 0.20 gram BBs curved way up even with hop-up turned all the way down, but after about 50 shots they shot them perfectly. I recommend 0.25 gram BBs for increased accuracy and range. This gun can't shoot 0.12 gram BBs. The gun has very nice power with an effective range of about 100 feet. With 0.20 gram BBs, it can shoot through one side of a un-dented can and dent the other side at close range. Came with a low and high capacity magazine. The high capacity magazine works great in battles - just pour in 180 BBs and wind it up a occasionally and you will get non stop firing action - its the best feature of the gun. The accuracy isn't great but its good enough. The gun comes with metal weights which can easily be removed if you don't like the them. So far both guns work flawlessly and they feel quite sturdy however cheapness usually comes at the price of durability so keep unnecessary roughness and slam firing to a minimum. The trigger is hard to pull but the gun is very easy to cock. In conclusion, if the gun is as reliable as it seems, then $30 is an incredible bargain.
