This is my second one of this style. The other one is 120vac. I use them to provide forced air into my grid tie inverters to aid in keeping them cool. The inverters are inside a storage container to keep them from the weather. The only place I could put the container was in the sun so it gets up over 100 degrees inside it. The inverters fans run continuously during the day but this fan placed in front of the fan provides a booster to increase the air flow. The fans are on a timer so that they don't run 24 hours/day to extend their life. So far they are working great and helping the inverters out for about a year. If you intend to use this fan for a cabinet fan inside or any inside project I expect it will last for a long time and perform well. As for the noise I gave it 5 stars for my application. If your in a quiet room you may think differently but I expect you will be satisfied with it. I would recommend both this DC version and the AC version.

Was installing it to inflate greenhouse plastic with it running to help hold the layers apart while I fitted it in a stretched hole in the plastic. Bobbled minorly and got a finger in the fan. Striped about 2 inches of fan fins off. Hurt but didn't draw blood which was good. Wrecked the fan which was bad. Be very sure nothing can get into the fan as the fins are very easily breakable.

First and foremost this moves a ridiculous amount of air for how small it is. At full speed you can feel air at 6ft no problem. The bad side though is it is loud, especially once it is broken in. First week or two it was fairly quiet, like someone using a hairdryer in another room through a closed door. But it got to the point it sounded like the hairdryer was in the room with you. To add to the issue mine came with the housing cracked so i had to epoxy the shell back together over the exhaust vent. Overall if noise is not an issue this is the cheapest fan that will move this amount of air. It could easily keep a small inflatable up no problem.

I got this fan for cooling mining GPUs. And this is the absolute best cooling fan I've ever had it is something completely different than a regular fan. I have a 220 CFM fan evacuating air from my cards and if I take the 220 CFM fan off, and put this thing in its place it will lower my GPU temperature by 5° c. Even though the 220 CFM fan pushes more air the blower fan to Simply has a much more powerful vacuum. And it did exactly what I needed it to. My gpus went from 54 Celsius to 49 Celsius incredible results. The thing is definitely loud but I give it a good rating because I have three other fans that are louder than it and it's quieter than the turbo fans on my GPUs.

Installed this 120 volt blower to inflate greenhouse and it maintains about 0.2" H20. Seems to be a perfect inflation pressure. The watt meter reads 2.0 watts.
I first tried the 12 volt blower but it went up to almost 1" H20 and almost made the greenhouse explode! Even covering inlet still was at .5" and too tight ( don't know where it was getting air from) and I didn't want to make an exhaust opening ( want the air to be static between layers)
