Thoroughly entertaining and touching on very human and social issues - forgiveness and kindness, etc.
Although set in Cyprus, the issues and topics apply to us all, and provide a real insight into some of those things we just subconciously ignore in our busy lives.
I'm not sure what the previous reviewer was expecting. Yes, inevitably there is a slight political slant, but I fail to find geographical or historical inaccuracies. I'm not even sure the reviewer has read the book, since he doesn't mention any of its contents, just a couple of generic lines about bad grammar and so on.
If you're the kind of person to delve into a book and really feel connected to it, even touched by it, then this is a great book. If you fancy propaganda, or deliberate misinformation, look elsewhere. I, for one, really enjoyed this book.
The book is very poorly written, full of grammatical and syntax errors as well as geographical, historical and political inaccuracies.
