About the authors

Kermit E. Heartsong is an author, entrepreneur, award-winning designer (games, books), and former columnist for the “San Francisco Chronicle.” As an author, Kermit has written three books, that speak to the social, economic, and geopolitical ramifications currently manifest in the world around us. Kermit’s entrepreneurial road has led him to found gaming (traditional and software), biotech, software, big data, and consulting companies. And his achievements in both game and book design, have seen him awarded numerous times for his distinctive, efficient, and aesthetically sound designs.
Kermit currently serves on the Board of Directors of W.S.D.G Design, he is a Board Member and the Vice President of the California Writers Club (CWC) Berkeley, a graduate of the Writer's Boot Camp (Santa Monica), and a member of the Writer's Workshop (San Francisco). He is also a screenwriter with multiple projects under review and one project, that has been recently optioned. His experience over multiple industries, technical/nontechnical spheres, and his work with up and coming entrepreneurs, as well as established entrepreneurs has enabled him to quickly adapt to changing times, environments, and expectations.

Natylie Baldwin lives in Portland, Oregon. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in various publications including Consortium News. OpEd News, The Greanville Post, Santa Fe Sun Monthly, Dissident Voice, Energy Bulletin, Newtopia Magazine, The Common Line, New York Journal of Books, and The Lakeshore. She is a graduate of Cal State East Bay where she majored in Liberal Arts and minored in Political Science.
In October 2015, she visited 6 cities in the Russian Federation and has written several articles about her impressions of the country and discussions with the Russian people. She traveled to Moscow and St. Petersburg in May of 2017 to view the Victory Day celebrations and to do research on the Russian Revolution and how Russians were commemorating the centennial.
