And it's a great value, too.
Even though it feels more flimsy, it's still a very practical tool. My color-selections for quilting have greatly improved now that I can easily sort my fabrics into the appropriate color families. Choosing home-dec accessories to match things around our house is also easier with the handy reminders of what colors make up different color schemes. It's small enough to fit in my purse, making it easy to carry when shopping.
Try it with clothing, too. Skirts, tops, vests, you can come up with some striking matches and contrasts.
The color samples shown on each color card are about 3/16" wide x 3/8" long. along with a color coding system for the Pantone scale, i think.
Joen Wolfram's book on color is very good but I don't think this Color Tool is worth the money or the bother of carrying it.
I must add that I have background in interior design and I am a quilter. For someone who has trouble remembering how the color wheel works this item may be of value, but you could carry a small inexpensive, color wheel with you if you needed it.

AWESOME PRODUCT. You can't go wrong with your color scheme. The instructions explain basic color theory and pallet very well. I would get her book and then take her Craftsy class. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Anthony D. Kirkedhall
