The Ultimate Book of Vegan Cooking: Everything You Need to Know About Going Vegan, from Choosing the Best Ingredients to Practical Advice on Health and Nutrition Paperback – February 26, 2013
About the Author
Tony Bishop-Weston grew up in his family's delicatessen in West London, Given his roots, surrounded by a multitude of cooked meats from tongue to honey roast ham and a selection of over 100 cheeses, it was probably less anticipated that he would end up a vegan author living on the side of an idyllic, remote Scottish Loch. After winning a string of awards for his hotel and a stint as a presenter at a Highland radio station, he gradually drifted south again. He met his wife at a Vegetarian Society awards ball and soon after they wrote their first book together, Vegan (Hamlyn) a guide to healthy plant based eating.
Yvonne Bishop-Weston has worked in the health food industry ever since leaving university. She managed health food stores, ran the pioneering vegetarian catering company, Cranks, and was the vegetarian face of The Food Doctor before setting up her own nutrition consultancy Foods for Life in London. An accomplished nutritionist, she has tutored at London's Institute of Optimum Nutrition, appeared in most of the UK newspapers and many of the magazines and now appears regularly on British TV.
