Edited 11/14/14 to add: I used his step by step instructions to create and publish my first Kindle book using nothing more than MS Word and everything worked like a charm. My book sold several copies the first day - based in part on his advice about creating descriptions and choosing categories. It's continued to sell with NO PROMOTION from me and, for the first few days with no reviews. Now reviews are starting to come in and I'm preparing for my first promotion by, again, following his advice. The advice in this book works, if you follow it! You have nothing to lose with this one and everything to gain.
Mind you, this is not a book you read for leisure. The information is presented in a step by-step fashion that has one primary advantage over the competition. It is complete and, unless you deviate from his formula, you will succeed in publishing your book using Microsoft Word.
As I said, it is not a book to read for fun. It is, though, a book to use so you have more time for fun after you publish your book.
I am a published author, in both print and digital books, and this book made me realize how important it is to have a refresher course and regular reminders of how fast the market is changing and how much we can benefit from information that is so generously shared by authors like Rev Smith. We are often overloaded with emails, webinars and seminars, and struggle to implement suggestions, but this book makes it easy to use the hyperlinks and refer to the valuable pointers at any time. Writers prefer to be writing, but the essential marketing has to be done by ourselves if we're to survive. I highly recommend Rev Smith's book for all levels and genres.
