ALERT: The vendor doesn't provide any kind of warranty or service support.

Changing my review of this product based on their customer service. I had purchased their Ultra Dura+ table top 1.25L wet grinder and around 6 months it stopped working. I tried contacting them many number of times. They responded only once that too asking for more details. Very disappointed on post purchase experience. At the lease they should be decent to let me know that they cannot service my request...but absolute silence from their part. After spending $200+ it sucks to see it all go the drain. If you still decide to buy, please purchase additional warranty provided by Amazon for some extra bucks.

It stopped working after 4months of purchase. I used it to grind batter once a week for idli and dosa. It started giving burnt smell and stopped working. Called up Gandhi appliances as the product is in warranty. They told me to purchase the poly belt for $25 and it's not covered by warranty. I can't get it serviced in California. Didn't expect the belt to wear out in 4months when my colleagues have been using ultra bought from India for ages now. It's basically I wasted $217 for the faulty product and warranty doesn't support all items of the product.

I saw the video about the product and it was talking about the digital control, timer and everything as a feature. but the product does not have any of those features. it was a bit disappointing. in addition to that, it doesn't have the coconut scraper. I don't mind that since I will not use that.

I like the product though. disappointed because of the over expectation by seeing the product video.

The product got delivered with a cracked lid and a little damage. Also, the locking system keeps automatically popping open initially when we start the machine, I had to hold it in place for a while to make it run without opening up. I have thrown the box away before testing it, else would have returned it for a new piece.

There are several things that needs improvement. 1. Not sure why the hand, white plastic part, need to be adjusted. When I do, it either rubs on the drum or is not close enough that the grains don't grind smooth. It adjusts only with one full circle so there is no way to fine tune it. 2. There is always some grains not ground stuck between the base and drum intersection. 3. Lever, the part that keeps the grinding stone in place, keeps falling on my hand as I am taking the dough out and when taking the drum out. 4. The on and off switch doesn't indicate if it is in on or off mode. 5. The dough is somewhat discolored, have used it at least 10 times now. I cannot afford to through all the dough out. So, I will recommend this product with reservations.

Heavy wet grinder that works well.

This is heavy and appears to be well made. The stones turn easily and create a (fairly) smooth paste without creating too much heat. Besides being fun too watch :) it does a good job at grinding. The plastic 'stone cleaning tool' is fairly worthless as it rests on the rim of the bowl and doesn't offer much support. The stones are fairly heavy on their own, so care must be taken not to drop them! We find it easier to remove the stones and just scrape them off with fingers and/or a flexible spatula. Overall, we're well pleased with this wet grinder and would recommend it.
