Using this to wash vegetables, what a timesaver!
Used to use an ozone machine to clean my produce but after my rubber gloves were destroyed by the gas I realized that the ozone is extremely hazardous to my health. Not only is the ozone itself highly reactive, but the other inorganic compounds it reacts with release even more harmful compounds into the air!!
Now I simply trim the veggies and cover this washing device in a bowl of water, add some organic veggie wash, then let it run for 15-30 minutes. The vibrations can be through the stone countertop, faucet and sink when the cleaning is going on. The device seems to efficiently agitate the water and vegetables, loosening dirt that settles to the bottom of the bowl. Wouldn't use this without the veggie wash to deal with pesticides but quite happy with the results.
