Miles Mathis rocked my world

5 stars because Miles Mathis has contributed more to western scholarship than anyone in the past century, and that's me trying not to be bombastic... I'm just saying it like it is, if you're one of his detractors, chances are he destroyed your field of work. Go to his website for a taste of what's inside, you won't regret it.

Original and intriguing work ... but ebook typography is poor

Unlike others who are downgrading Miles Mathis because they find him to be a crack pot, I am finding his work, both in physics (on milesmathis.com) and in his exposes of well known events and people (on mileswmathis.com) to be quite interesting. He's certainly an original thinker, and he sees through inconsistencies or obfuscations in both science and in what we're told publicly of events and people with a sharp eye.

I have struggled for longer than I care to admit reading this Un-Unified Field book, in ebook format. I enjoy reading my occasional novel or other lighter reading on a good ebook reader, but struggled with this book. In particular, when it actually came time to present equations and mathematical symbols, the Kindle ebook form of this work completely confuses subscript, superscript and inline numbers ... all the same size, on the same baseline, in the same font. If you don't already know what you're reading it can take considerable concentration to guess what was meant.

Just now I started reading his physics website milesmathis.com, and find I should have done that all along. There the layout and typography is quite fine, and it's all readable.

I'd happily pay a few shekels to read his work - but since the best way to read it is online, where I am often anyway - I'll have to put up with reading Mathis for free, as I already read his commentaries on well known events and persons.

Excellent work - but an ebook is the wrong format. I'll stick to reading easier stuff on my ebook reader.

P.S. - also the drawings (figures, diagrams, ...) in the ebook form are too small to be seen in any detail. Each drawing that you want to look at has to be selected and magnified manually to be viewed well. The diagrams are fine, and easily viewed in a size in proper proportion to the text, on the web page version.

We are witnessing history in the making. With his easy command of the English language Mr. Mathis presents his concepts, arguments and theories in clear, concise terms. With his command of logic and elegant mathematics Mr. Mathis has laid before us his formulas. We read criticisms of Mr. Mathis's new and important work yet where is the debate from those who teach the current theories? There are many who seem to want Mr. Mathis to simply go away. For those who are not ready to accept this remarkable and useful body of work, I have one suggestion; debate him online where we can all witness a defense against the current world of Kardashian Physics where personality cults and mystic paradox solutions abound, debate this "crackpot" and put him in his place. Reading this book led me to Mr. Mathis's website where I learned It has been over fifteen years since his concepts first gained notoriety, it should be easy to dispose of his logic and proofs and so I ask those who feel they can dismiss Mr. Mathis's work to come forward with formal argument for the benefit of us all. What now follows is the sound of crickets.

We are witnessing a brave genius. I strongly recommend you read this book and his updates that have followed the publishing of this book.

I suggest we ignore any review that includes personal insults to a researcher. Our concern should be to achieve an accurate understanding of our physical existence. Let's all rise above that sort of thing.

If Mr. Mathis's work frightens you perhaps you have taken the first step to a better understanding.

Miles is obviously a genius willing to take on the establishment. His critiques of existing science, scientists, and the process is on target with details we unwashed masses need to understand.

His own theories, when the consensus needs replacement, are well thought out and seemingly answers many questions the mainstream can't touch.

Whether Mile's theories turn out to be any better than the mainstreams I am not qualified to judge. Still, it is a breath of fresh air in the stifling Consensus of Rigid Institutions to read his work. I would bet he is CLOSER though and that is what we need to get out of the dead end of statistical and mathematical game playing we are currently stuck in.

Miles Mathis' book is a sorely needed answer to all the misinformed mathematics that is paraded before us as modern physics. What he shows is that the mathematics does not explain the underlying mechanics in Newtonian theory nor quantum theory. Mathematics has come to replace mechanics. The ancient Greeks used mathematics--geometry-- to prove the earth revolved around the sun. The mathematical work of Ptolemy in the Almagest dazzled mathematicians for over a thousand years, and put the universe in chains. Thanks to Mathis we now have to chance to correct the present deeply incomplete theory of strict gravitation with one that takes electromagnetism into the fold of celestial mechanics and takes gravity into the fold of quantum mechanics. What I think most of Mathis' critics don't realize is that they are on the wrong side of scientific history. Other physicists will read and become familiar with his work and the and in the future it will grow and grow. Calling Mathis crank or crackpot proves only that those who use these pejorative names don't want to see his work grow as is the case with a theory that is stunning in both senses of the word. to the Establishment model. His book is must reading for anyone who has an inquisitive mind and is not intimidated by the physics Establishment that has received a shocking blow.
