I had a very hard time tolerating Tegan, she yelled and screamed and was psychotic way too much for me to stomach. Cage was no better, with the way that he couldn't stand having Tegan hate him, but he did nothing to curb his manwh*re ways. So much back and forth between them, he loves her but she runs so he immediately starts screwing whatever he can get his hands on.
I feel bad giving this book only 3.5 stars because as I mentioned, Madeline's writing is excellent. You don't always love every song an artist puts on their album and that was the case for me here. I'm moving on to Dorothy, Jase, and Hawk's story now.
What I really loved and am still freaking twisted about is Dirty! Hell to the yes! I wish he had gotten his own full length story because it is the kind of sick and twisted crazy that will inflame your brain and make you not work right in real life until you get to read the whole story.
Another great book in the undeniable series and recommended.
You write like no other author I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Even though some might not like raw and gritty stories, I just can't imagine anyone who would not eventually fall for these characters. You write so we can see the insides of these people and understand why they are who they are. Please don't grow tired of writing their story. There just seems so much more to read about in their lives.
This book is about Cage, Deuce's oldest son. And when I was reintroduced to Tegen (when she came home after her mom got shot and got up in (my) Deuce's face), I did not like her very much. My thought was "Cage deserves better." However...
This story does a great job of giving Tegen's back story. And you see how clearly she loves Cage, despite some choices and behaviors. And you think "no one will love Cage like Tegen" and you want it to work out.
And of course, there's more of my beloved Deuce. He will not win any parenting awards. But he comes from a tough place and does the best he can. Or maybe he doesn't and I like him so much, I give him a pass. But come on--it's DEUCE!!! LOL
Great job. Can't wait for the next one in the series. And while I'm really, really ticked at ZZ for what he did to Cage, I'm wondering if there's a way for him to get back in good with the club. I mean, he's had a tough road in the love department, yeah?
