“In an awakened, fully integrated life, everything is welcomed. Nothing is excluded. Everything can be recycled and transformed.”
“Eventually all your scattered parts—the parts of you that have been repressed, cut off, marginalized, or just forgotten—return home to be integrated. They come back to be forgiven, to be loved, to be embraced—and finally to be appreciated because they are the fuel for the fire of transformation.”
“The desire to be liberated, to be free, is a beautiful longing, and we all share that. The good news is that it will happen. Full realization is your birthright, an amazing flowering built right into who and what you fundamentally are. That flowering doesn’t require knowledge. It doesn’t require perfections. All it requires is commitment and the willingness to show up, 100%, with love, softness, and tenderness, and then naturally the heart will heal and the spirit will shine.”
Great sections on dealing with energetic issues after awakening, looking at whether a practice is strengthening a “spiritual identity,” a beautiful chapter on what the term “spiritual transmission” is referring to, and another favorite on artistic expression.
I'm ok with being open minded, however, the author wants you to empty your head, in order to offer depth, that just isn't there.
So, it's a lesson learned for me, to keep moving forward, on my search for inner maturation.
If your so inclined, try the book. I'm just saying, it's not suitable for my needs. So, I have moved on.
