It was a really well written puzzle, this book... leaving no stone unturned. While I missed the heated romance aspect of it, I respect the author for not giving me what I want, but instead deliberately making this story it's own. It definitely makes me want to go back and read On The Island again, one of my favorite books of all time.
Without any doubt, if you loved On the Island, I'm sure you can't wait to get your hands on this story. It's a satisfying end to an incredible story
T.J and Anna do come back for this one and you get to hear more about their story (which I loved). But the main character of this novella is millionaire Owen Sparks. Who is Owen you ask? That is what T.J. and Anna both wonder when he shows up on their doorstep one day out of the blue. They learn quickly just how much they all have in common as Owen begins to tell them his story of his time on the island!
Many of the questions that T.J and Anna had about things they encountered while they were stranded on the island are answered...you will see all the pieces come together for the whole picture about how all the man made items and things that T.J. and Anna discovered on the island got there, you will learn about the dead body they found, and last but certainly not least you will find out more about T.J. and Anna's life as a married couple is going.
And don't count out Owen either, his story is fascinating as well! I was surprised by much of how it all came about really happened. Tracey Garvis Graves proves once again what a talented and gifted storyteller she is with this one and you will probably find yourself like me wishing that this one wasn't just a novella so you could spend more time with Owen, T.J. and Anna.
You do need to read On the Island first on this one for the most enjoyment of series, and believe me YOU WILL enjoy both of these for sure!
So what are you waiting for!!! Go and get this one now order it below and start the adventure!
I think we all knew that Owen's story was going to involve heartbreak, and I kept waiting for that shoe to drop. Especially as I became more and more invested in his character, and Calia and James. Ms. Garvis-Graves is an amazing storyteller, and I was so invested that my heart broke finding out the identity of 'Bones'. I went through the gamut of emotions while reading, but was so glad to shed happy tears as well as sad ones.
All in all a fabulous followup with its own unique story (not just a rehash of the previous one). (but still, it didn't hurt that we got to see a bit more of Anna and TJ, b/c I just love those two)
only one.....On the Island. After reading On the Island over a year ago, I immediately checked Amazon for other books by her but never found any, until by chance last week, I accidentally pulled up On the Island and found Uncharted and other books written by TGG!
Needless to say I immediately read Uncharted in one day and night being
unable to put it down. The review said it was a novella but it read like a normal paged book, never rushing the story line and making it a very satisfying read. Answers on how Anna and T.J.'s life together had evolved and who actually the skeleton head found on the Island belonged to.
I loved this book because it was well written and thought provoking just as its'
predecessor as well as bringing favorite and touching character's back to us.
I gave a four star rating instead of five only because the book content was less involved than On the Island
