Overall, enough information is given for the trader to try and figure out and find trades that may suit the book's strategies, but it is plainly obvious to me that the book's purpose is to encourage reader's to subscribe to their monthly services which takes much of the work and discovery out of doing it on one's own. High price for a short book which promotes Uncle Bob's monthly services for $39 a month.
I don't like that there are so many references back to the website but I understand that it's too much to include in one book. also the authors imply that you should just trust what they say, so if I were a new trader then I would be suspicious of their motives. however I found no reason to mistrust this book and I've been trading for years.
I liked the simple explanations done in layman's terms. It is also a concise book and didn't waste time covering the material. For someone who wants more, you can also sign up for the Uncle Bob's Web Site and observe his conservative trades (getting great returns) as well as some intentionally not so good paper trades that are very instructive.
The book is great, even if you don't sign up for the web site. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a beginner and wants to learn the fundamentals of option trading and how to avoid losing money by doing conservative (safer) options trades.
Although I was completely stumped at first, Mr. Williams first explains Stocks, so that you can clearly see the difference and get that type of thinking out of your head. He then goes on to Options and yes, I was utterly confused at first. *LOL*
However, Mr. Williams goes through and gives a very detailed explanation, with graphs included, of everything from profit & loss, to Options terminology and the parts and types of Options. He also reveals a handful of strategies to help you implement all that you've learned. And throughout the book are plenty of links to reference for further information and clarity.
By the end of this book, I had a clear understanding of Options and how lucrative they can be. Comparing Options to insurance throughout the book, helped me make the connection in my mind; something I didn't know and something I did, when compared, helped me immensely. I will be sharing this with my husband so we can start building our financial "nest egg."

I would surely advise anyone who is looking at the subject of learning options to go for this book.
