It is a cool toy that encourages parental involvement. Otherwise it can be really boring to your child.
There are a couple of suggestions inside the booklet for this toy.
Teaches gravity.
Skills involved: hand/eye coordination
Encourages a child to come up with her/his new ideas to develop new games.

What could be improved: Need more ideas for parents in an insert, so they could share those with their kids.

Ironman is a favorite at our house! This looked like fun so we gave it a try. Both boys are really enjoying this toy. They are Tony Stark in his lab making all sorts of things when playing with this. We started with tabletop position and are now playing in handheld. I have seen an increase in eye/hand coordination since they have had this toy. We have even tried it in the dark! Not quite the same results as in the light but we are getting there and having fun along the way.

This was the hit of our gift-giving with our grandchildren. Our grandson could hardly put it down once we got the batteries in and he saw how to use it. It really meant a lot to see him so involved.

This is one toy a two year old can actually hold attention span for. It's actually pretty entertaining for myself and my husband too. This toy helps with eye/hand coordination which I have lost over the years. It's simple to set up and super easy to figure out. My five year old loves science experiments so this is the perfect toy for her. Although she called it a "boy toy" she didn't complain about playing with it. It kept her and her sister from arguing. They were both fascinated by it. If we don't lose the balls that come with it, this will make a great family toy for years to come!

Bought it thinking it was neat. It was an add-on so i only paid under 5$ for it.
Got it as a birthday gift, and because of the price i thought i'd try it out before gifting it(And so i could put batteries in it).

After trying it for a few minutes i decided I'd be embarrassed to give this as a birthday gift...you have to go incredibly slow while using it or the ball will go flying.

The picture is deceiving too i thought it would be nice you turn it on and just play. But you have to actually hold down the button(the blue part on top of the product). If you could hold it like he was, or in the table top position it would be a lot funner.

So just based on nothing more than deceptive marketing i give it 1 star. It would have got that anyway thou for being a lame toy.

The hovering ball's coolness wears off in a few seconds. Trying to move thru obstacles is interesting... for a few minutes. Once you get it, you are done. You could hand hold it, and if you are persistent and patient, can compete on who can hold it longest. Or who can walk with it farthest. That's pretty much it. I doubt my 7 year old son will play with it tomorrow (he opened it today).

My son initially loved this. Found it really fun and interesting. Hovering the ball itself is easy, but anything more than that was too difficult for him. And hovering a ball over basically a fan lost its charm quickly, and he lost interest.

The repulsor is basically a fan. It blows air and difficult to balance the ball. My son lost interest pretty quickly. When I bought the original price listed was $250. Really??
