Great for my organic vegetable garden. Along with other organic amendments, I grew grape tomato plants that were in the range of 14 feet high. Attached are some pictures. There were thousands of grape tomatoes from 3 plants. You can see that I didn't expect this kind of growth because I kept having to add tomato cages on top of tomato cages. Then, I had to add some poles to hold them up. After the growing season ended, I took a pictures of all the cages and supports.

I commented on the packaging and delivery but needed time to see if these worm castings helped. Well after applying as directed my roses, rhododendrons, azaleas and everything else went into a growing frenzy. My roses have so many buds that they are leaning over and touching the ground. I have never seen such full and beautiful growth. These were established plants that have had the usual amendments (organic), rain and etc., so I know that the addition of this product had a profound affect on my plants.
Not over priced because a little goes a long way. I highly recommend these Worm Castings.

This stuff even put buds on my dormant thornless blackberry bush I transplanted from another state. It's only been in the ground since a week after Thanksgiving.

I use earthworm castings in conjunction with several other types of compost for maximum nutrient effectiveness. Of the earthworm castings I've used, I find that these have the darkest color and the best texture. It has a pleasant earthy smell that reminds me of the woods. My daughter loves to run her fingers through this stuff, and she calls it "black gold." Yeah, I know that may sound odd when you are talking about a 12 year old girl, but she recognizes the benefit this stuff gives her tomatoes.

I have had excellent results using this product as an amendment. I use it in my "soil" mixture for my Square Foot Garden. I follow the methods developed by Mel Bartholomew and I've had amazing successes.

This product does cost a bit more than what I pay for another brand at my local nursery, but the difference between the two is like night and day. The texture, the color, the smell and even the density are all different. If I could afford to use this brand exclusively, I would. I've purchased quite a few bags here, and I've never been disappointed.

I've had an organic vegetable garden for about twelve years, trying different fertilizers, composts, and soil treatments. I bought this product for the 2013 summer simply based on all of the positive reviews. I too was amazed with the results. I have NEVER had this kind of fruit yield. My peppers and tomatoes did beautifully all season, the quantity was more than I've had in the past. The only difference this season was using the castings. I sprinkled a few tablespoons in the soil with each seedling I planted and...that was it. Didn't take much at all. But WOW my garden exploded with produce. I will never go another growing season without castings again. This stuff is like gold to my plants.

Do not buy! it's either black magic or voodoo!
It's not that's it's not working, it's just that I like to have the best garden around and being able to brag about it. So, please do not buy if you are living in a 50 miles radius of Boston.
For the others, living far, far away ...
A picture is worth a thousand words, hence below you'll see Parsnips
As a reminder, this picture was taken on May 7th 2015 in Massachusetts.
-- We just had one of the worst winter on record with ~110 effing inches of snow
-- The backyard was still covered with snow on March 28.
-- Everything is about 4 to 5 weeks late.
-- I have planted parsnips for the past 5 years, and never had such a results so early, even with much better weather condition.
-- I have tried a lot of type of fertilizers, manure, soil amendments, etc

So, take a look and decide for yourself.
As for myself, I have not only purchased this product, but I am also starting my own worm farm.

Nota Bene:
This parsnip was started last September, it's NOT seeds planted in 2015. I overwinter it.
Nevertheless, for the past 4 years, it has been, at best, half the size. I simply sprinkled worms castings as soon as the soil had thawed.
