I don't get it! This is a great author & the story
Is engaging!! smh but I don't think I'll read anymore! I hate!!!!!! Hate waiting!!! And for only few chapters @ 2.99 each it takes away any enjoyment I could gain form the book! I don't know if this is a amazon thing but there are way to many of these few chapter type stories out now!!! and the whole point of getting lost in a story is lost!!! &!All just to try and create hype! Maybe if we all stop buying them they will get back to writing a full story start to finish now there's a concept!!!
If u are unlike me and like being teased ,if u can stay interested in a story that takes weeks and weeks to finish!! THIS is a great one! Who knows maybe I'll buy it when it's all put together as a book! But 4 now I'm out!!

What kind of sick, masochistic torture is this? No really, I want to know. It's bad enough that I'm experiencing Lilly's torture as if it were my own. But I feel even more abused because I can't just sit down and endure one night of abuse in order to find out what happens, I have to take it in small, spread out doses because this is part of a serial. If the goal is to make the reader feel more attuned to Lilly's plight, then Scarlett Edwards has accomplished her goal. I really could feel Lilly's despair. But seeing as how it's only been a few weeks and I had to struggle to remember Lilly's background story, I'm still inclined to think this would be better combined into one novel. (I have a feeling Lilly's past might end up being an important part of what's happening right now but I can't recall the specific details anymore.)

In UNCOVERING YOU 2, Lilly has agreed to sign Jeremy Stonehart's contract and is now learning exactly what that entails (only, of course, in Jeremy's time and at his whim). Jeremy comes across as truly sadistic and I cringed at so many things he said and did. I completely empathized with Lilly's actions and reactions. I was completely enthralled in the story despite the emotional pain I endured in reading it.

I gave UNCOVERING YOU 2: SUBMISSION 5 stars not because I loved it, because I kind of hated it in that *you took me to a really dark place and I hated being there but it was so well-written and so perfectly told that I couldn't help but be sucked in* kind of way. So okay, maybe that sounds like I did love it; I was just so caught up in the story that I was repulsed by it's darkness because it felt entirely too real. If you want a small piece of advice, I don't recommend reading this as a bedtime story--you won't like the dreams you have as a result!

I like a main character with fight! Sure she scared but she's got bite to her. Couldn't image being in her place, how I would react but I think I would do the same. Cant wait to see how she handles what "J" has in store for her and the reasons he chose her. I have some idea but want to see where it goes. Rose has to be his mom or a mom replacement! But grow some balls Rose! Not crazy about the serial format and with the cost of book 2 will get kind of pricey if this goes on for awhile. However, I do like the schedule being put out there so we don't have to guess when it will come out and long enough to get us excited but not disinterested in. I recommended it to my friends.

If I was in the same room as this man and had a loaded gun I would not think twice about pulling the trigger. I will continue to read all of the up and coming books. You Ms Edwards are a gifted writer to get this strong of a reaction out of your readers.
For those of you just starting on this journey please read the f
irst book.
Edwards I found the cover on the first book to be quite beautiful. Keep up the good work!

Uncovering You Part Two begins shortly after the cliffhanger in Part One. Each story in this serial is labelled after the core theme of the novella which I find unique and creative. Part Two focuses on Lilly's submission in her situation. However, Lilly isn't truly submissive and plots to overthrow her captor by feigning her submission- but everything isn't black and white and what happens when she doesn't know if she's pretending anymore?

I easily read along with Lilly's point of view and experienced her emotions as she did. When she is awarded with luxuries it definitely caused me to think what I would do in her situation? How would it feel to have everything money could buy at the price of freedom? I could smell the salt from the ocean as Lilly gazed wistfully out the windows and I felt her defeat as she was kept caged- with a view of freedom. Everything in this book played out in my mind as if I were watching a movie and I highly enjoy the author's descriptive writing style. We also finally meet J.S. or Jeremy Stonehart and discover what kind of man he is. Stonehart...where to begin? A cruel, vindictive, and malicious man- not one I'd label as a "broken" or "damaged" hero...no he is generally just sadistic. I haven't met a male character where I felt no sympathy in a dark erotica book...until now.

For every one step of progress Lilly makes she's thrust three steps back... and don't be surprised but this book also ends with a dark cliffhanger.
