Callie has had feelings for Jude for a long time but he hasn't seemed to feel the same. Callie steps in when needed and helps take care of Katelynn, Zoey, and Matthew.
Callie wins over Katelynn, zoey, and Matthew's hearts and sooner or later wears down Judes. Together these two handle heartache, death, and happiness.
I laughed and cried throughout this book and I have to say it is my favorite of the series. CA Harms does not disappoint and I just love her books.
I was gifted an ARC in exchange for an honest review
Callie has loved Jude for years, she wants to help not only him but his sister and her kids that she falls in love with immediately. Jude of course says some really mean things to her and she gets mad and leaves.
It takes Jude's sick sister to make him see the light that Callie is good for all of them and they need her.
I like that there was not really any drama in this, no cheating, no real time apart.
The wrap up with the other couples was nice and the Christmas scene together was sweet.
Rarely do I read a book and feel the need to THANK an author but with this book, that's how I feel. I was so thankful that with the personal family issues, struggles and sadness of Jude that CA Harms didn't write more drama or struggles with Callie and Jude. I was extremely happy that this author allowed the struggles to dwell in one specific area rather than drawing in unneeded strife, tension or drama between the two characters. Not to say that everything was easy peasy so to speak, but, well read this book and you will understand.
Jude is a proud, strong and sexy man who is devoted to his family. He would do anything for them, and when doing that reduces Jude to one of the lowest points in his own life physically he must rely on the help of his friends. Allowing others in is a hard task for him, but he realizes the friendship and love they offer can be well worth it. Having always pushed his feelings for Callie away, she is a welcomed gift to him and the readers as you wanted him to have something for himself, to be taken care of. The vulnerability of his heart in Callie's hands was a special thing to read. Again, kudos to CA Harms for allowing them to nurture one another, grow and flourish. They didn't deserve to have weeds grow with them as they made their way through the circumstances they were in, and there was no unnecessary drama to take away from the beauty and LIFE of this story.
I loved the way the stories of the other characters were as well concluded and the Epilogue was amazing. I don't personally know this author but I am proud of the story she gave of with Jude and Callie and the conclusion of the Key West Series.
Jude is the sole provider and caregiver for his sister, Katelynn, and her two young children, Zoey and Matthew. He's a proud man who refuses to ask anyone for help and won't let anyone enter his sacred circle of family and trust. In short, he's damn stubborn. But he's also a very loyal and honourable man, and the love he feels for his family is obvious right from the start. Callie has had feelings for Jude for years, but apart from some flirting, she's never been able to break through his walls. When she learns the truth that is Jude's life, she steps in and does whatever she can to help, earning love and friendship from Jude's family. She's giving and strong, but she needs to be to put up with some of Jude's moods and harsh words. I loved Jude and Callie, but it was Katelynn and her kids that stole the show. Zoey and Nathan are absolutely adorable, and Katelynn, despite all that she's going through, can still give Jude a reality check when he needs one.
It's official, UNDENIABLE is my favourite book in the series, and not just because the cover is smoking HOT. It's very sad and emotional, so make sure you have tissues at the ready. UNDENIABLE is told in dual POVs and is the final book in the Key West series. The epilogue is huge and includes POVs from all couples, past and present, so we get a glimpse as to how their lives are playing out. And the bonus chapter at the end was a nice touch as well.
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
