There were several things I love about this jug. My son plays soccer several hours a week and needs constant hydration here in hot Texas. I did like the fact the handle had hooks to place on the fence so that it doesn't lay on the ground. The water stayed cold for the amount of time he played. Also the jug did not sweat or leaked water. Unfortunately, at one practice my son dropped the jug and the spout lid broke. It is made of a clear plastic that protects the spout. Once the plastic broke you can no longer close the spout as it is the only way to keep from spilling the water. The jug is no longer usable. I gave it a one star as we only used it for around 5 practices and could no longer use it. I believe the spout is a design flaw. The rest of the jug is hard plastic and sturdy. The spout plastic is not.

Nice product. It is prone to leaking if the metal piece isn’t in place or comes off. We made it to practice and all of the water had wasted out in the car due to this.
Great water jug! This is our second, only because the first one was lost after practice. Love the top mouth piece is covered to keep dirt out. Very sturdy. This is not a Yeti so won't keep ice forever, but certainly keeps things cold long enough for a summer afternoon at the ballpark.
Somewhat dissatisfied. I use this for water to take into my office. Covid-19 restrictions have forced my job to turn off all water fountains, vending machines, closed employee break room. Needed something to bring water to last me all day. I filled it water and a tray of ice cubes, by 10am all the ice was melted and water was cool, not cold. That was just 2.5 hours. If you are looking for cold storage then this is not the item.
The Good: This jug withstands many falls. The jug overall feels very sturdy and keeps the liquid cold. I love that this jug comes in so many different colors. Also, the fact that there are hooks built into the handle is great for my daughter's softball games. This is my daughter's second jug. She had her first of two years, (it held up great, exact same model,) then she lost it. Since we loved the bottle so much, we got it again. In addition, the lock never malfunctions and opens unexpectedly. I would recommend this water bottle.
The Bad: The only thing that I would say is bad is the rubber stopper used on the top of the water. Sometimes, the rubber stopper folds, therefore letting water out. However, this problem happens very little. This, to me, is not a very big problem.

If there were a "Mediocre Design Museum" they'd have to reserve a space for this thing.
All of the glowing reviews notwithstanding, allow me to elucidate (btw, FakeSpot gives veracity/dependability of reviews on this item an “F”):
1. The pour from the spout is both slow and sloppy. Try filling anything larger than 4 oz. and you'll be tapping your feet waiting for the fill. And the splashing makes it not too good for indoor use (which I know is not the primary purpose, but just the same...).
2. The clip that's supposed to keep the lid from accidentally opening gets easily hard-jammed if you use it, and it tends to fall off if you don't use it (a blessing in disguise, all things considered).
3. Unless you totally pack it with more ice than liquid, if you use in temperatures much above 80 degrees, you will have room temperature-warm liquid within a couple of hours at best. And this thing is actually made by Thermos. I guess Under Armour pushed them to go for low cost instead of good quality. I will now use great caution before ever again buying a Thermos product (a once dependably great brand, it is now owned by Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation, which I guess has its own ideas about what "quality" really means).
4. It comes with a circular washer inside the top lid, and another washer-type thing in the spout cover. Directions EMPHASIZE that you MUST take out the washers and clean them after every use in order to prevent bacterial build-up. That in itself is a minor pain, but the circular washer is both a pain to remove and pain to seat back in. I imagine folks who find this "easy to clean" simply aren't bothering with removing the washers after each use.
5. This isn't a complaint, just a heads up: Make sure you close the lid until it comes to a hard stop, or it will leak a lot when you pour. This is not readily apparent by the way it closes when you try to seal the lid shut.
In sum: It holds liquid, and keeps it cool as long as you don't use it in hot weather. If you expect it to perform well beyond that, you will be disappointed!!!
My daughter loves this cooler. She uses it almost everyday, even just around the house, and outside when playing. Keeps her drinks cold, and doesn't leak. Very convenient size as well. Would recommend.

These water jugs are great. Sent my kids to outdoor sports camp from 9-4. Water stays cold with ice cubes in them. Well worth the money. The handle makes it so easy to carry and when not in use, it "folds" down.
5.0 out of 5 starsA good water jug for working outdoors

This water jug does it's job, and keeps water cool on a warm summer day as long as it is not left in direct sunlight or a hot vehicle. The jug itself is very well made, the handle is long, allowing it to be carried on your arm, freeing your hands for other things. The jug has held up well for the 5 months that I've been using it, but I don't toss it around.
As other have mentioned the lid has a hard stop, so you know when it is closed properly. It also has a gasket on the inside of lid and the spout, which many cheap water jugs do not have, which helps to prevent leaks. It seems like it does leak a little bit if you leave in laying on it's side for a long time. I'm not sure if it's a leak or condensation though, since I've never watched it.
My bf loooves this water bottle! I gave it to him for his bodybuilding workouts. He is the type to drink water bottle after bottle and wasting plastic, but this saves him the time to find water bottles and allows him a great supply to last him throughout his workouts. The best part he loves is the fact that the water bottle keeps the water cold for a loooong time!
This water bottle has been a great! I keep it in my work bag and it has never leaked. The plastic lid cover feels a little cheap, but it does its job by keeping my drinks cold and not leaking.
Amazing use it everyday and take it everywhere. I was scared to get after reading some reviews but it could be that they got defective ones. I am very happy with this one thou.
