Under Armour is UNDER FIRE!!! - in a good way

More like..on fire. This boot is absolutely ridiculous (that means amazingly good). I'm a firefighter and wear these boots for 16 hrs straight every working day. They are thee best! Lighter or as light as my Asics running sneakers but the boots are way more comfortable. My feet never hurt, provides excellent arch support and no back pain either. Excellent boot. Now, the only question I have is....how long will they last. To date it's only been 3 months and they are still rock'n flawlessly. Also, they squeek until broken in, about a week wearing them only a few times.

Follow up - 4 months later. Awwww, we gotta fallen champ. After about 4 months the glue holding the sole starts coming apart. Understand I only wore these 14x in 4 months. Amazon won't takem back after 30 days, but call Under Armour direct and they back every product,and they did. They said no problem. Send them back and we'll refund or replace the boots for free, exluding shipping (which is fair). I replaced them. So far the new pair is still kick'n...sorta speak.

I had bought a pair of Bates tactical boots with a zipper in November of 2015 and found that I couldn't wear them, had a problem with the ankles. Couldn't walk because they were to painful, and had to return them within a week. So looking on Amazon I decided to buy a pair of these. When they arrived, I decided to do a test wear on my days off to see if I could wear them at work.
I wore them the entire day and was on the computer late in the evening and realized that I was still wearing them. So they passed the test. I wear these at work everyday. I find them to be very comfortable. Some of the floors I work on are slanted (don't ask) and I need good support. Especially in the ankles. I learned this from a retired detective. These give me that support. Now if you work in food service or in a machine shop these aren't for you as they are not slip resistant. Nor do they have steel toes or the comparable composites. So no heavy equipment or construction. But for law enforcement or security personnel these are great. Would probably make for great hiking boots also.

Fits great, lightweight but one shoe is falling apart.

I am a career firefighter and I wanted uniform boots that were lightweight and comfortable and these fit the bill nicely. They are VERY lightweight and VERY comfortable. The side zip is a great option and holds in the heat during the winter but if you leave it unzip it's nice and cool in the summer.

I've had mine for about 2 years now but unfortunately the right show is coming apart at the sole. I can literally pull the top part of the show away from the bottom sole, which is discouraging because I really love these boots and they've held up quite well up until a few months ago when the problem started happening.

I'm giving them 4 stars only because they're starting to fall apart, it would be a solid 5 otherwise as these fit true to size, are very comfortable and very light weight, and they look great and professional too. I'm going to try to gorilla glue the right shoe back together but if that proves to be a fail then I'm most likely going to reorder these as I like them so much.

I'm highly disappointed with the quality

After 3 months of wearing these boots, I'm highly disappointed with the quality. The soles are already peeling from the body of the boot, the velcro strap on the upper part of the boots are peeling and losing their tether. In fact the stitching of the left boot has ripped off it's leather strap (had to cut it off with scissors). These shoes are NOT slip resistant, if you work law enforcement I highly discourage against buying these, every encounter I had with an oily liquids had me feeling as if I where in an ice ring. You can buy better boots that are just as comfortable as these and of a stronger material. I wore these shoes 5 days a week doing 8 hours shifts (normal conditions) through various terrain; while I can't argue with the comfort (they feel like sneakers) the materials used are absolute crap. Under Armour really let me down with these..going back to 5.11.

I have plantar fasciitis so having good shoes is a must. I was wearing Kuru orthodontic shoes (which are actually really nice) but I like to wear boots and I love hiking and stuff, and those shoe can't take a beating like that. My Kuru where great for walking and gym but running around in the mud, fishing, hunting I need something that was more. I get the support I need and my wear these boots all day even when just chilling out at home. They are quick to put on thank to the side ziper. Make it easy to get into on the really sore days which I've had less of since bought these boots. They are also super light, hell I think my running shoes weigh more. They are confy tough and worth the price. Also it under amour and they guarantee these boots for life, so if something break or tears they will replace it. I've had these boat for a year and I've worn them every day since and they still look new
