This bra is a mid-impact bra, made especially for activities like cycling, weight training, and boxing. It's part of UA's compression line so it fits snugly next to your skin and helps keep the girls in place. The back of the bra is a racerback style and there is a 1 1/2 inch stretchy band around the bottom of the bra that adds good support. It isn't padded at all but I haven't had much of an issue with it so far. This bra is part of the HeatGear line, meant to keep you dry during warm weather. There is a UA symbol and the name on the band and a UA symbol on the back between the shoulder blades. This bra is made in Cambodia of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Washing instructions say to wash with like colors. I typically put these bras through a normal cycle and hang them up to dry, to keep them in good shape. I also accidentally put one in the dryer and didn't have any issues.
I initially purchased one of these and loved it so much I bought three more! The colors I own are: Black/Black, White/Aluminum, Pink Shock/Rhino Gray, and Absinthe Green/Black. For reference, I wear a 36D in my regular bras and all of the other sports bras I've purchased are size large. I used other reviews and a size chart to figure out my size with this one. I ended up buying all size large and they fit just how I want them to for the activities I do! I go for walks, play at the playground with my kids, and shoot baskets so this type of bra is ideal for me. It keeps me in place enough without putting too much pressure on me. I know some women like to wear sports bras when they are at home and, if I wanted to buy these for that purpose, I would purchase an extra large for a looser fit.
I am very happy with my purchases and am glad I found these! They are very comfortable, well-made and keep me in place during my exercising. I wear these with my Under Armour shirts but they should work with other brands as well. I have four of these now and am happy with them and, if I need any more, I will get some other colors. I highly recommend these bras!
I am by no means "busty". I am a 36B/C with a 33in band measurement and 37.5in bust measurement. Most all my sports bras hold me in place well. However I have felt on a few occasions (when doing MMA based cardio or TurboFire) that I'm going to bounce right out of this bra. I have added a second bra for additional support. I have noticed it more recently as my measurements have continued to decrease with increased exercise, so maybe I need to go down a size, but then I can find other sports bras that fit and flatter better and don't cost quite as much.
If you post a size chart under these bras, especially with measurements included, it should at least be somewhat accurate.
What is even stranger is that the bra itself comes has a tag where it clearly shows what bra size corresponds to S M L etc. According to the tag I am a full size larger than the online description.
