Cyndi has everything—sexy husband, beautiful daughter, and loyal friends. Well, everything but a little something that's just hers. So she spices up her life with a part-time job. And, well, her hot, but overly protective, cop husband would hardly approve of her shaking her ... uh... tassels... at a strip club. So what's a girl to do but tell him she's cleaning offices instead? And as lies tend to do, they come out. In Cyndi's case, when her coworkers start disappearing and her daughter is threatened.
This book has a unique storyline, a hilarious cast of supporting characters, more twists than a bag of pretzels, and don't forget the hot cop hero. It's a quick read, with a fast pace, and a 'must know more now' sort of plot. I can't wait for the sequel to come out next month. Highly recommend this as a 5 star read.
But when crime comes knocking on the club Cyndi dances for's door Cyndi slips straight into sleuth mode.
For me it was the exotic and eclectic band of characters scattered through the book which made it hard to put down - not only her dancing friends but her online girl gang
A great read for anyone who can translate words to images in their mind! Hope there's a sequel with more of the online girls - I sense there's many more stories to tell here!
This book is so cleverly written that you won't see the twists and turns coming your way.
Carolyn is a talented lady, when she puts pen to paper - or in this case, her fingers to a keyboard - magic happens. This is the first book of hers that I've read, but it for sure isn't the last. If she carries on writing books of this calibre, then she should be a best seller in no time.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.

That Cover !!
I am a sucker for a pretty cover, and for some reason I loved this one.
Honestly I wasn't sure what i was getting myself into when I started reading this story, The interaction between the Wives online is fantastic!!
It reminded me of myself and a very close group of friends I meet online nearly 9-10 years ago. Still to this day we are all so very close and chat every day, we are all spread across the world. Anyways enough about me this is a book review , the interactions and conversations these friends have is heartwarming.
"Hello, ladies! It's three in the morning, do you know where your husbands are?"
Beautiful, Caring friends they are a funny loyal bunch of wives that have each other's backs.
I wanted to be a part of there group !!
I really enjoyed this story, it was so very different to anything I've read before. It made it even better, I just about loved everything about this story.
"Marriages take work. Romance takes work. You have to put in a little to get a little" AMEN !!
Cyndi is a wife and a mother who wanted something for her self, so she got a job.. A Dancing job.... Doesn't sound to bad right..
Dancing in a strip club that is.. Sugar Shakers... I kinda like love Jonny !!
When a young girl goes missing from the club, she and her close friend Ang look into it. They come across a purse with blood on it, and she has this need to look into the disappearance of the young girl who could be dead.
Her husband Jason is a sexy, alpha cop who she needs to tell the truth to when it all gets a little to dangerous and close to home.
Will she lose it all ??Read more ›

Prefer more realistic crime stories? Don't get your hopes up over this one. It was almost hard to finish this one because I lost interest as a result of the unrealistic situation... Read morePublished 5 months ago by Crystal G
