Product Description

From the Manufacturer

What college did Fab Five Freddy attend? Stumped? OK, try this: What is rapper Kurtis Blow's real last name? No answer for that one, either? tsk, tsk. Not as knowledgeable as you thought, hmm? (The answers, by the way, are Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn and Walker.) But don't worry, help is on the way. The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Board Game contains several hundred questions about hip-hop trivia; everything from artists and their songs to the culture and its history. The game board is on an actual record. It is designed to mark a recording artist's path from unsigned artist to (hopefully) hall-of-famer. Hard Times, Groupies and Lawsuits are some of the spaces on the board. Players start on the outside rim and work toward the center by correctly answering category questions on artists, songs, industry and culture.

Looking for a board game to play with my neices and nephews, who know every hip hop video ever made, I found this game to be the perfect match. Once the kids picked up the rules and began making their own variations, they were purchasing property and paying propety taxes etc...before they knew it. In one night, they learned more about the value of money with this game than they had in years.

I played it. It is sooo fun. I gave it as a gift to my best friend and she loved it! It was so much fun kicking back with your favorite old school hip hop artists!
