My complaint about the book is that it seems to be an infomercial – the objective appears to be more about selling the author’s products than about truly helping educate. In addition, each section has a list of recommended supplements to take to improve health in various domains, but there are no suggested doses offered, nor any discussion of the side effects, interactions, contraindications, or interactions with other drugs. It could be dangerous for someone taking, say, blood thinners, to ingest many of the suggested supplements. I recommend the book for it’s simple and concise overview of blood tests but would recommend that the reader be cautious about taking suggested supplements without first consulting a doctor.
This book is well-written and will be a worthwhile read for non-health personnel if it is simplified!
