The only thing keeping this from being a five star is the cost. If you are a trial attorney, I'd say every California evidence book is worth having. But if you are not, I don't think I'd pay too much for this. At $50, it is a bit much, considering all the other comparison guides and CEC guides. If you are looking to learn specifically, and in depth, about the CEC, I recommend "California Evidence - A Wizards Guide" by Prof. Gerald Uelmen.
