The author s objective is to give the reader understanding, i.e. an understanding of what the whole of the New Testament is all about. With that aim in view, he gives the reader a guided tour through the New Testament, briefly explaining the purpose of each book in turn and giving a synopsis of its teaching and the structure of the book. In this way the meaning of the whole becomes clearer by examining the parts. As a result the reader will gain a much clearer picture of what God s purpose was during those seventy years covered by the New Testament. --Search magazine, UK
