I'll recommend three reads on this important book. I've only read it twice. But I believe that reading a book once helps you understand it's suggestions, reading it twice helps you remember these suggestions, but reading it the third time helps you internalize and adopt its suggestions. I really want to stop my telling. I'll read it over one more time.

After years of giving up half - way through, years of stopping, years of not understanding what was wrong with his lifeless prose, the penny had dropped - the best penny he'd ever spent - that much he knew.
