Radiant healthy glowing skin

I love Squalane. It just makes one's skin glow yet after a minute or two it's not oily in the least (I'm generous, a few drops but many can use one or two).

This is not the brand I usually order but it had nice reviews, larger sized and in a brown bottle which is very good for oils. It arrived promptly and I tried it. It was clear, and felt lighter than what I was used to. I immediately requested a return. I used it again the next morning, last try. It was wonderful. It lasts as long as the somewhat heavier feeling one, and does exactly the same thing. I cancelled my return request because this is wonderful.

There are many kinds of skin oils and at all price ranges from gentle to ludicrous. This is as effective as the very expensive department store well-packaged oils. Squalane from olive oil is very similar to a natural substance within our own skin that provides moisture and hydration. I've read that at birth about 12% of our skin surface is made of squalene. In our mid-to-late twenties, its production begins to decline quite rapidly. And, by 50, production drops to below 5%. In any event, this wonderful oil helps add radiance and can be layered on top of or underneath a regular moisturizer if desired.

Viscosity was somewhat more dense than another brand but overall a very good product. The other product I tried seemed more refined but feel the effectiveness may be less.
No scent that’s important to me. There is no sun protection and I like that very much as my base has sun protection, I don’t feel the need for layers of sunscreen with every base face product and certainly don’t need at night.

I don't understand how some reviewers state they use this during the day? It is way to oily and for me it doesn't absorb into my skin immediately. What I do - at night - after washing my face, I put it all over my face, around my eyes and on my neck and chest area - and then simply go to bed. If you are worried about getting it on pillows, etc, simply put a small hand towel over your pillow. When I wake up, it has all absorbed into my skin and my face doesn't seem to have that tired look. If you have oily skin, obviously I doubt you would want to use this. My skin is pretty much normal - and sometimes dry in the winter. I will continue to use this.

It really plumps up my skin, keeps it soft and moist, doubles as a hair conditioner for the ends of my almost-waist-length hair, and does a great job on my cuticles as well. I keep a small bottle in my travel bag as well, because it's also handy for removing makeup at the end of the day.
It also is nice on dry shins, elbows, etc. during the summer. It soaks in and doesn't leave an oily residue.
