If you guys didn't already know, I like my alpha males a lot. And what can be better than one alpha male you may ask? Two alpha males getting down and dirty! With the amount of hotness, sexy-ness, perfection, alpha-ness and manhandling, Unequaled should be tagged with a "Danger, ovaries may explode" tag.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ASHER AND RHYS! And if you follow me on twitter or goodreads, you might probably have seen me spazzing over the both of them. Asher and Rhys are perfection together. They fit so naturally together. They are strong enough for each other, strong enough to love the other the way they deserved to be loved, strong enough to bend the other to their will.

Unequaled is hands down one of the best M/M romance I have read in ages. We get to see a whole load of panty-wetting sex for one. With two alpha males in a passionate, sizzling relationship, we get to see both of them topping and bottoming, loads of manhandling and dirty talking. Neither is truly the "man" in their relationship and it works. (One would expect more head butting with two strong confident males but nope.) Asher and Rhys are sooooo adorable together, I couldn't stop giggling. I would love to have a side story where perhaps, they get married and adopts a little girl. That would definitely make my year!

Beside Asher and Rhys, we are also given a glimpse into Dane and Kerry's relationship and some very yummy, very dominant sex. Can't wait to read their story!

My only complain was that I got slightly confused at certain scenes change but I got the ARC so that might have already been fixed in the final draft :D Overall, hot and dirty sex, loads of dirty talking, an overload of alpha-ness and a very lovable couple. Good story telling, pace and flow!

I'm in love with this "No Rival"series! I couldn't put the book down.

This book starts one way and you think you know what is going to happen then BAM a twist and turn. It never gets predictable. This is a smoking hot book and I mean that literally, I need a cigarette and a cold shower followed by stuffing my face with lots of chocolate. Aside from all the hot action, a beautiful love story unfolds with all the thoughts and insecurities that comes with a new relationship. You also get to see several of the characters from the previous two books and learn a little more of what has happened to them.

My favorite quote that had me laughing out loud was:

“I will send you home with a limp and a juice box.”

I’ve never read a book by Charity Parkerson so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I must say, she writes very graphic sex scenes, where you can picture yourself being in the room and maybe even getting a little bit splashed lol.

Although the focus is on two male characters getting it on, which isn’t really my cup of tea, I felt this book had a lot of story taking place outside of the bedroom. Rhys and Asher made a really good couple, both complimenting each other, ying and yang.

I wish I’d actually read the previous book because I think it would have given me a better understanding of how Rhys ticked. It was made clear that Rhys loved Mandy, but I don’t really know why they didn’t get together except the bits I picked up from other people’s reviews and the small bit of info in this book. I suppose you could class this as a standalone but I think to get totally invested in the characters, you really need to have read the previous book.

Anyway, a very well written and well edited book and if M/M is your thing, then I think you will score a win with this story.

My Rating: 3.5 of 5 Stars

In the beginning I was lost.

I read this knowing it was the third book but I also knew that this is a stand alone. Unfortunately, I got lost and could not make heads or tails on which was who character. There was a bit of back story but I had a tough time sorting it out, especially when the scenes kept shifting.

Fortunately it all evened out in the end and became a comfortable read.

I really liked the concept behind this plot where a man, used to being a top and thought himself as irresistible gets his comeuppance from a woman who he sought to subdue. Instead, he falls under the spell of someone who knew how to make him submit and he gets addicted to that man.

Rhys and Kerry had a combustible relationship to put it mildly so when the opportunity struck where Rhys can finally get Kerry to do what he wants, he takes it. Unfortunately, (or fortunately?) he ends in the arms of Italian Asher D’Ettore who did things to him he never thought he would love happening to him. Note that he liked it happening to him, and he was not doing it to someone else! Soon, his conflicting emotions and surging male pride were his main concerns. Should he follow his pride, he loses Asher. Should he follow his feelings and submit to Asher, he may lose all he fought to gain - like his fame as a top dog who submits to no one.

This was a really interesting read even if it took me some time to figure things out. Author Charity Parkerson successfully wrote the opposing needs Rhys faced. It helped a lot that this was uber sexy HOT!

Although this is a standalone, as I said, I got lost in the beginning so would recommend reading the first two installments before reading this one, even if this is pegged as a stand alone.
