About the Author
Annie B. Garman is a Midwestern girl who finds herself living in the suburbs of Washington DC. As a child, she wrote many books with dramatic titles (such as "The Sun Will Come Out"... "The Sidewalk Does Not Hold Three") and dreamt of becoming a REAL WRITER. As she got older, her dreams got wrinkly and dry as she met many talented writers whose gifts seemed to outshine hers. She continued journalling, but eventually concluded the last thing the world needed was another book. However, when she discovered that her baby had a heart defect, she decided to document the journey in hopes that it would help parents with similar trauma. She wrote down everything she was experiencing, thinking, feeling, and questioning during the three years of her daughter's open heart surgeries. Eventually this turned into Annie's first book. Annie has a B.A in Teaching English as a Second Language from Liberty University and started a Masters in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy (but got distracted writing a book and never finished). Her and her husband, Colby have been married for fifteen wild years. She just happens to be a pastor’s wife (that was not the original plan) and a mother to four young girls:Haley Jane, Darcy Elaine, Gracie Kane, and Penelope Raine (four girls with rhyming names was not the original plan either). Annie loves a good story, especially when it involves God transforming lives. She shares her thoughts on "Motherhood, Mayhem, and the Meaning of Life" at anniebgarman.com.

The story of a Family already raising 2 girls and they learn of distressing news about their 3rd child during a routine sonogram; while living abroad.
This is a book which shares love, joy, Scripture & compassion along with doubt, heartache, vulnerabilities & insecurities; of a family dealing with their day-to-day life while knowing/not knowing the outcome of what God has in store for them. It's a book you'll be glad you read. I know that I am.
