Another great book by James Sweeney.

The author answers 19 questions from his students in great detail with hand examples that helps to explain the concepts. His writing style is simple and direct, without complex math analysis.

If you play micro stakes online or small stakes live you will enjoy and learn from this book. Almost all the topics apply also to online and live tournaments.

I recently read "Optimizing Ace King" from the same author and I really enjoyed both books.

Save your money, you are going to see this on Kindle Unlimited soon.

It's a large-print Q&A of about 20 questions like "why shouldn't I buy in short?". There are much, much better books to spend $20 on, and if you are going to spend the $10 on the Kindle version you could simply type in each question into google and find equally useful answers. There is no theme, coherence or evolution, just 20 answered questions that you could otherwise find the answers to in his videos or online. I wouldn't be surprised if it was ghost-written.

If you aren't familiar with James' Youtube videos, they are top-notch and I can't recommend them more highly. Consider me buying your book as payback for watching them for free, James. We are even.

Unfolding Poker is a home run for James "Splitsuit" Sweeney

If you are a big fan of James "Splitsuit" Sweeney, this book is a must read. If you are new to him, I can tell you his advice is pure poker gold.
James wrote the book in front of a live audience on Skype in one week and I was lucky enough to have tuned in for it. The questions were expertly selected and answered with input from a live audience. The questions that James takes on include, "Making Money in tight games", "When do I hold or fold over pairs", "How to use my table image" and "Hand reading in fishy games", to name a few. I am a big fan of his previous books including the Hand Reading Workbook Poker Workbook: Hand Reading For Live Players Vol 1 both live and online. This is not a weighty tome that will take months to read, but is instead packed full of practical advice aimed at making you a winning player. The book alone is awesome, with its convenient links to additional material, but the audio version is out of sight. Enjoy hours of audio read by "Split" himself to accompany you on your trips to the casino. +EV
